Konnichiwa! It's Cocokuru-sensei!
Today, I'm going to show you how to make a small gift box
that you can use when you can't throw it away.
Let's get started!
Yoroshiku onegai shimasu.
Here are the materials.
Today, I'm going to use this 15cm square Japanese paper.
And this 12cm square Japanese paper.
And this 15cm square Japanese paper.
And this kind of origami.
I'm going to use this origami to make a box.
Lastly, I'm going to decorate it with these parts.
Let's get started.
First, this 15cm square paper.
I'm going to put this out of the lid and set it on the table.
First, fold it in half and fold it lightly in the center.
Turn it over and fold the other side in half.
I think it's a little hard to see, so I'm going to make a crease like this.
Align the crease and fold it in the center like this.
It's like this.
Can you see it?
I folded it like this.
Next, I'm going to mark this vertical line lightly.
It's the center.
Align it with this line and fold it in the center.
Next, I'm going to fold this side in half and make a line.
I made a line.
Align it with this line and fold it in the center.
Make sure to make a line.
If you make a line, it will be beautifully finished later.
When you make a line, spread it out.
Put it on the left and right and spread it out like this.
If you spread it out, you'll get a line like this.
Align it with this line and fold it vertically from the left and right.
Next, I'm going to fold this diagonal line inwards.
Fold it down from the top and put it in.
Do the same on the other side.
Fold it inwards and put it up.
Fold it down from the top and put it in.
Now the bottom part is done.
When you put the bottom part together, you'll get a box like this.
Next, I'm going to make the lid part.
Make the lid about 80% smaller than the bottom part.
The lid is 15cm, so the lid is 12cm.
Do the same on the other side.
Turn the part that looks like the outside of the lid to the table.
Do the same on the other side.
Put a line in the center and fold it in a square.
It's going to change a little bit from here.
In the case of the lid, I folded it in half earlier, but in the case of the lid, I'm going to fold it in one-sixth.
So I'm going to fold the four corners at about 1.5cm.
I'm going to fold the four corners at about 1.5cm.
Make sure you put a line here.
When you get a line, leave the left and right as before and spread it up and down.
This is the same as before.
This time, the width is a little narrow, so I'm going to fold this diagonal line inwards.
I'm going to fold the lid.
I'm going to fold this diagonal line inwards.
What I'm doing is the same as before, but the width here is one-sixth.
I'm going to fold this side, too.
Put a line in the center and fold it up and down.
It's like this.
If you fold it with chopsticks, you'll get a lid like this.
I'm going to put the bottom and the lid on.
A cute box was born just like this.
I'm going to decorate this little box with water as a gift.
The box is a little green today, so I'm going to use this green part.
How was it?
I made this box using this disposable paper.
If you fold it like origami, you'll get a box like this.
You can use the beautiful pattern inside like this.
If you don't know how to use it, you can put some glue on it and stick it on.
If you have a lot of disposable paper like this, please make a lot of this and give it as a gift.
