Good Morning Vietnam! The man had a point...it's HOT. Our first stop is in Chang May Bay which is a working port nestled in between Hue and Danang. We give some tips on navigating the area without paying 10x what you should. We take a nice long walk and spend the day on a lovely beach on Chang May Bay. The locals are so friendly and welcoming! Such a beautiful place. Next stop is Nha Trang and wow has this place grown since I was here 20 years ago. It's hardly recognizable as the same place but the beach is still beautiful and there are a LOT more activities to chose from now.

We are in Vietnam.
In Chiang Mai.
Beautiful, it is hot, oh my goodness.
If you ever take a cruise port here,
just remember there's taxis and everything
right by the cruise ship that are $150 to Da Nang,
round trip, $150 U.S.,
and people are jumping in there left and right,
walk about 100 meters outside the port gate,
and they're offering $15 round trip to Da Nang,
and I'm sure you can get them lower than that.
We're just walking to the beach,
so pro tips.
These are sensitive plants, and they're so much fun.
Oh, close up when you touch them.
Look at them.
We learned about these in Cambodia.
Just wandering around,
the people are super nice around here.
Everybody's yelling hello at us.
This is worth the hour and a half walk.
I saw something pretty that I thought was a feather,
but apparently it is a cantaloupe.
That dude looks like he might make you itch.
A lot.
He's really cute.
Give him a kiss?
No.
We are in the train today.
Way different than it was 20 years ago, I'll tell you that.
One thing, there was no giant amusement park over there.
They drop those tender boats off the side,
pick us up, and take us to shore.
Because this boat is way too big to dock
most of the places that are, you know.
We boarded the initial onslaught of taxis and such,
and we're walking into the train.
Really cool little town.
Pro tip, they were exchanging money by the ship
and on the ship for about a 20% fee,
so we just wandered, not even 500 meters down.
There's a Western Union office.
We got a rate that was right at
what the current international rate is.
That little office right there,
those dudes are super awesome.
Super easy to change money outside
and not get completely ripped off.
Your train may be bigger, but it is still very beautiful.
Wow.
What an awesome beach day.
We just went out and got massages for about Bali prices,
about $8 a person again.
Yes!
And they were really good.
It's about three times the price it was
when I was here 20 years ago, but I think we'll take it.
Now we're gonna go for some swimming
and we will catch you back on the boat.
My Oregon sleeping shorts fell apart finally.
Check out what we found at the little market
right here in the train.
Ta-da, three bucks.
