Burghley Horse Trials 2022 - Best falls and refusal compilation

The four-star three-day competitions at Badminton and Burghley are both exceptional horse trials. However, there has long been competition between the two to be crowned the best eventing competition in Britain.

- One rider deserves an award since after soaring through the air, he runs to the horse and attempts to help rather than caring about himself.
- Some of those fences are not horse friendly, and those bloody corner fences need to be banned, and the inappropriate width of the fence the poor horse got stuck on. This is a very tough competition, and it's pretty poorly designed and dangerous.
- The contest designer is asking for too many horses and riders for my liking, and the same goes for Badminton this year.
- The most common mistake people make is when horses start to rear up, they pull the reins back, thinking it will stop them, but in reality, it makes the horse further freak out from the pressure, sometimes causing them to flip over. Instead, you should keep their feet moving, and if it becomes dangerous, try an emergency dismount.
