We finally got rain here on the farm, well one day we did, lol. With the rain came slugs in the garden and Tara spent hours in the garden early Saturday morning catching them. I thought it may be a good idea to give them to the chickens but read about Grapeworms that are slug parasites, and that in some cases, have caused respiratory issues as they can attach themselves in the throat of chickens, so no slugs for the birds. Today Marlene came by with a load of veggies for the animals that she handed out after our morning feed.
