This day turns out to be one of our favorite memories. We rent an electric scooter which makes no noise, and spend an entire day riding it all over the Bagan Archaeological Zone marveling at the thousands of temples, pagodas and stupas that are literally everywhere. The added bonus of the electric scooter is how peaceful many of the places we went were that would have been ruined by a loud scooter. No plan, no map, just pure blissful exploration by braille. This experience firmly implanted itself on our favorites list. This is definitely one of our favorite UNESCO sites as well.

It's amazing. When you're going to see temples for the day, be prepared.
This is so ancient. All the rocks and the detail. I can't, there's no words for it.
Okay, you have got to rent a scooter if you can drive and go just go explore.
Head in that direction. It's amazing. Driving on all these little back roads through these villages
and seeing their little individual pagodas. It's really beautiful.
If you're foreign and you're visiting, this sign is particularly of note.
You have to get a receipt for any souvenirs you buy because if they're black market,
they'll take them from you when you go to leave at the airport. Good to know.
We are having our best experience just driving down little trails all over the place and we
just come upon all these thousands of pagodas and stupas and temples just everywhere. You can't turn
down a road and not go buy them. The vast majority are like this. There's just a family living here
taking care of this. It's so amazing and it's beautiful. See you later alligator.

They have maps like this all over that show you right where you are in the entire archaeological
area. We've been out here for hours just driving around trails on this scooter looking at these
amazing pagodas everywhere. Our recommendation is don't get a tour, don't get a car, get a scooter
and just take every little trail that you can. We had a plan of pagodas we were going to go to.
We threw it out the window and had the best day that we could have imagined having. It has been
a blast. I gotta say this is probably on my top five. If you like our video,
