The Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio balances comfort, luxury and performance under one roof. This is by far one of the best sounding SUVs that I have unlocked on my channel. If your looking for a SUV that can comfortably drive your kids to school and then race home then this Stelvio needs to be on your watchlist!

Here we are in the Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio.
As you might say, that's a bella macchina.
What's up guys?
Welcome to another video.
It's Christopher here from Cars Unlocked.
I'm super pumped to behind the wheel of this car.
This is definitely your performance and luxury style SUV.
You get performance, you get luxury, all combined into one.
It's a real pleasure to drive
and it packs a big punch here.
505 horsepower and 443 pounds feet of torque.
It's attached to an eight speed automatic transmission
and a Ferrari derived twin turbo engine
with the 2.9 liter V6.
So a ton of power.
You can definitely race in this thing and it takes off.
This Alfa Romeo is one of the best sounding SUVs
that I've ever driven.
A lot going on with this front end here.
You can see this little smaller triangle front grill here.
That's synonymous with the Alfa Romeos.
I do like the functioning hood scoops.
They're not full hood scoops.
They do serve a purpose here
and they do add to the sporty appeal of the car.
The side license plate looks great
with the bracket right to the side here
and it's below these LED headlamps.
The LED strips are at the top as well.
Adds to the visibility.
And then we do have a couple sensors as well here
for things like your adaptive cruise control
and your safety settings.
There's a lot going on with the side profile.
Carbon fiber is a big theme in this vehicle.
You can see we do have the carbon fiber mirror caps as well.
And then this is a nice little conversation piece
with these Alfa Romeo Quadrifoglios
is this four leaf clover badging
that's very subtle and themed throughout the vehicle.
You'll see this badging quite often throughout the video.
Basically in the 1920s, an Italian race car driver
brought a four leaf clover into his car with him
for the race.
And ever since then,
it's just been a good luck charm for Alfa Romeo
and it's synonymous with this Quadrifoglio brand.
So that's how you know it is this performance package
for the Alfa Romeos.
I gotta talk about these tire and rims.
So super wide Ferrari P Zero tires
sitting on this 20 inch rims.
We do have our Blackdale Alfa Romeo brake calipers
and I gotta bring your attention to the rear here
because we do have dual brake calipers as well.
That's just gonna help with the stopping
when you go at those fast speeds.
On the back, you can see we have this Q4 badging
that's to identify as the Quadrifoglio
and the four wheel drive.
Our Raptor emblem, that's gonna come extra.
You can add that if you're a Toronto Raptors fan.
And then we have our Stelvio badging as well.
Parking sensors are right above this quad exhaust.
It's not a full quad exhaust
so really helps with the sound of this vehicle.
And then we have our backup camera above our plate.
The backup camera could be done a little better.
I'm not a fan of the backup camera.
This is a high quality SUV
and you deserve a high quality camera to help you park.
You can kind of see that it's not in the same format
as the rest of the vehicle.
Right away, here's what's jumping out at me
when you jump in.
When you jump into this nice bolstered seat here,
it's a comfortable seat but it also feels sporty.
Everything is power operated.
You can go up to a full carbon fiber seat
but you would lose your heated
and climate controlled seats as well.
So if you want the heated seats,
you would stick with this package here
but you can go up to the carbon fiber seats.
The carbon fiber is all throughout the car.
Like it's all on the dash, all in the doors,
all in the center console.
You can see it on the wheel here
and it really helps with the look of this car.
I thought it would be too much
but I'm actually digging it.
With the red exterior and the red stitching,
when you get in this car,
you really know that it's a high end SUV.
And then the wheel,
like I gotta talk about the wheel and these paddle shifters.
Aluminum paddle shifters and they're very large.
They're column mounted paddle shifters.
They're not hooked onto the wheel like other vehicles.
They're column mounted.
So it makes it nice and easy to switch,
especially when you're in that race mode,
which is really like the funnest way to drive this car
is in that race mode.
And then you can up and down shift using the paddles.
I also like how the push button starts
right on the wheel here.
It's right next to the car.
Our start stop engine button,
you can see is right onto the wheel here.
And then we do have like our radio settings.
We do have our intelligent cruise control as well.
Our dynamic radar cruise,
that's gonna help you keep a safe distance
in front of you.
It will also stop for you as well.
And then our volume buttons are right on the wheel here
as well for our radio system.
One thing I like about the screen behind
that's in between your gauge clusters
is the digital speedometer.
So it really helps you increase speed as well.
And then when I put it into this race mode,
it does say to shift in manual.
That's another thing.
It tells you for best experiences,
you should have it in the manual mode.
And then as you accelerate,
when it's time to shift,
it will notify you here and you can hear those shifts.
And it pretty much tells you when you should be shifting.
I just like this instrument cluster.
You can't change it very much.
There's really only one way to drive it
to have the cluster set up.
But I do like how it is set up
and you really don't need to change it.
It's an 8.8 inch infotainment system.
It's gonna do your Apple CarPlay, your Android Auto,
all those necessities.
My one upsetting thing is that it's not a touchscreen.
You do get the dial here,
so you can shift through and use your dial
and select button to control your radio and your screen.
And you have a separate dial for your radio volume
and your tracks and things like that.
But I would like maybe to see a touchscreen.
Other than that,
it actually is a pretty free flowing screen.
See, we can go through our drive modes here.
Here's our radio screen.
And then we have our temperature displayed
at the bottom here.
So I do like the screen.
I just wish it was a touchscreen.
So this is the moment that I've been waiting for.
We're in the race mode.
We're gonna do a quick launch.
Woo!
Zero to 60 in 3.4 seconds.
I think that might've been quicker.
Holy damn.
You could hear the thing take off
and you can feel it take off.
There was no slip, no traction.
Oh my God.
Super fun.
I don't know why you would drive this car
not in race mode.
Like when you drive it in the other modes,
it just doesn't compare.
It doesn't sound the same.
There's basically like a DNA drive shift mode
where you can do a couple different things with the car.
You can see it in the front here.
You can have your dynamic mode,
your drive modes, your neutral modes.
But I would just drive it in race mode all the time.
And then you can adjust the suspension too
if you want to dampen the suspension
or anything like that for a softer ride.
Yes, I thoroughly enjoy that.
Super fun.
So if you do want that sporty feel,
you use the race mode.
If you're just driving the kids to school in the morning,
maybe you'll want to drive it in the normal mode.
But that is a lot of fun.
Holy smokes.
Not a huge amount of space in the back seat,
but that carbon fiber and red stitching
does continue in the back.
It's all across our door panels.
It's in our center console.
I do like the hard seat back.
That does help if you have young kids.
But for a guy like me,
I could sit comfortably back here for a while
with three of us.
I probably wouldn't be too comfortable.
Does have a rear power lift gate.
And then it does open up to quite a bit of space.
I like the tunnel cover.
I also like the latches to release the seats.
So there's none of that walking around
and dropping the seats down.
We do have our storage compartments here
underneath as well.
And then there's a little bit of a latch downs here.
If you do have accessories
or anything you want to latch down to the trunk,
you can latch it down.
We have a 12 volt power outlet and 115 volt here.
If you're at the beach,
charging those air mattresses and inflating them,
things like that, you can plug right in.
So there you have it guys.
Let me know what you think of the video of this Alfa Romeo.
