MYANMAR (BURMA) \\ IRRAWADDY RIVER CRUISE, THE PALACE & THE WORLDS BIGGEST BOOK // VLOG #113

We loved our trip down to Bagan my Alliance Myanmar River Cruise so much that we took the same boat back to Mandalay. It definitely beat bus or air travel here in Myanmar. As a bonus, it felt like a totally new trip! We saw different things on the way and got the gorgeous sunrise coming over Bagan. The crew gave a really cool demonstration of some Myanmar / Burmese cultural traditions such as how to tie a Longyi and how to prepare and apply Thanaka. Kate volunteered to be the Thanaka model and it turned out quite lovely! Back in Mandalay we head to the royal palace and the largest book in the world which is printed on large marble tablets.
