Shocked to find their relative still alive after holding a funeral service

A Chinese family in Nanning, Guangxi autonomous region, China discovered their dead relative was still alive after burying the wrong body returned to them by the hospital.

According to The South China Morning Post, at the end of December 2022, the family of an 87-year-old woman surnamed Yin received her corpse from the hospital. After that, Ms. Yin’s family held a funeral for three days without knowing they were burying the wrong body.
