Very Successful Baby Raccoon Adoption

Gates Wildlife successfully surrogates a baby raccoon into a new family. On the rare occasion that a mother raccoon does not take one her babies, we will do everything in our power to try to place that baby with a new mother. By law, we have to stay within a 1km radius and must ensure the baby being surrogated is around the same age as the babies of the new mother.

In this case, we successfully placed a baby into a new family. Watch to see how the other babies reacted to the new baby and what the mother did next!
