GIFT GUIDE FOR HIM, GIVEAWAY & WORKOUT | VLOGMAS 2018

Good morning guys. Welcome back to Vlogmas. Today is first of all bin day so I need to take out those outside and then we're going to head off to the gym this morning hence the early morning appearance. I kind of at some point want to film like a bit of a gift guide for him within this video and then in a couple of days time do a gift guide for her because I've got lots of exciting ideas and then in a couple of days time or in a few days time a stocking filler for him and for her gift guide video. So I'm wearing this Adidas hoodie that I got from the original factory shop which you might have seen on my Instagram stories and then these are Victoria's Secret leggings that I got from World Duty Free when I went airport shopping on the blogger event. Tommy need to help me with the bins please, thank you. Rain. I'm just going to do treadmill for half an hour, quick browns. I'm not going to lie this weather is horrendous today. It's going to be an at home day. I've got the video to edit. I'm back in Manchester again tomorrow so quick look in Poundland because I need to get some deodorant. I just stepped in a big puddle, need to get some deodorant toothpaste and then I'm going to go back to a few different Poundlands around our area for Sunday's video because I'm doing a collab with another YouTuber. These reed diffusers are new from the winter collection, you've got vanilla and mare and white birch and fig, quite like the look of those as well. They are two pounds though, it's still really affordable. I'm actually going to put my wellies on because it is still raining but like kind of just spitting and yes I'm still in my gym gear but I didn't do a full on workout so it's not like I was sweating loads or anything. I just need to nip out to the pharmacy to pick up some more pills and then on route back I'm going to go via Boots to grab myself some lunch. I'm going to try and be healthy, maybe have some soup or salad or something and then I'll get back and show you the, do you like my wellie socks? The gift guide for him when I get back and there's also a giveaway within it so that's exciting. If you're new here and you've never seen me before then you won't know that I weekly vlog and have been doing this year so I started recently doing weekly vlog giveaways so I do give away a lot to you guys and it's all the more exciting to film a clip when I know I'm going to be giving away something to you guys as well. There's no point like doing loads of hair and make up and stuff today when I'm literally sat at home enjoying the view of Bruce the Spruce and that is pretty much it. I'll do the advent calendars now just before I run out so Hotel Chocolat, I'm not, I actually haven't had day 4 yet either yet so 4 and 5, I'm not going to have those until later on this evening. They're the best chocolate, oh my god they're so good. Advent calendar number 2 is the Aurelia 12 days of Christmas so we're on day 5 today and another little cute pouch with something inside, this is so pretty. Okay so this is again like another little charm that you can put on, necklace, bracelet or you can even hang the charms on the earrings that I got in on day 4. Then there's the L'Occitane one, let's see where door number 5 is, here it is, ooh okay this is another hand cream and this is in Cherry Blossom, I'm going to be honest this is my least favourite fragrance that they do, the Cherry range, I really like the Lavender range that's my favourite. And then the ASOS one, I always like start with the same, I've got like the same routine now, I don't know which calendars I go for. So door number 5, here it is, ooh something from MAC, it's their strobe cream, I've never tried their strobe cream and always wanted to so it's like a little sample sized. How cute is that, oh my god how exciting, I've always wanted to try this. Just put a tiny bit on because obviously it's only a sample size, I want to use it as much as I can rather than just swatching it, but that is what it looks like, ooh glistening and glowy, ooh that's really pretty, look fantastic one. And let's find door number 5, it's a pencil of some sort, okay this is the Brow Bar and it's the ultra slim brow definer, that's what it looks like. And I, my favourite kind of brow products are these, but the only reason why like I change up is because I find I go through these so quickly, but they are my favourite ones so that is exciting, hopefully it will be my shade. Right, I am back, I ended up picking up some salad and this to snack on later, some watermelon and then I ended up going for this for my lunch which is the Malaysian butternut squash curry, it was in the free from range, free from gluten, wheat and dairy, source of fibre and like I mentioned the other day I'm kind of watching the amount of salt I have so the fact that it's all on green, even though it's a ready meal, it's not probably the best for you, but that seems pretty good for you and it was reduced from 350 to 263 so I thought I would try it and see if I like it, and then some diet coke, oh and of course my trusty booze coffee. Okay, I am literally sat pretty much right under the tree for this video so let me just have a sip of my coffee before we get started, priorities. Okay so what I'm going to be doing is as I've said a gift guide for him video, so I've got several ideas, I'm still to buy a couple of things for like friends and family, guys and girls, so what I might end up doing closer to Christmas is like a last minute gift guide video or maybe just show you throughout the vlog most things that I'm buying. This is a massive sack full of goodies, the sack itself I got from HomeSense last year I believe, I've got two of them, first of all I'm going to start with the giveaway items so Burger phone cases and MacBook cases, I have collaborated with before on a previous giveaway so this isn't sponsored or anything, this is just a case of I really like their products, I wanted to show them to you guys and they kindly offered to send me some along with a discount code and also book products for you guys to win yourself as well. So first of all I'm going to show you what I picked out. I got myself a MacBook case here, which obviously there are loads of different styles, this is kind of a bit more feminine maybe, so maybe more suited to a gift guide for her video as it is for me as well, it's like a hard case as well which I really like and then with that I got a matching phone case, which comes in a little box like so, you open it up, it's got branded tissue paper and then inside is your case. So that is what I got for myself and then I also picked up something for Tom, he needs a new phone case and he likes the kind of, his phone is the iPhone X and it's in black, so I picked up this black marble case, they literally have such a wide variety and I can vouch that the quality, we can see it for yourself, is really good, there is a little branding on the bottom there as well but it is very subtle. Anything else that I show throughout this video I'm not going to say who I got it for in case any friends or family members are watching, same with the gift guide for her video, just because I want it to kind of somewhat be a surprise but ultimately if you're a friend or family you might as well just click off this video. So the next item is this, it's the heaviest item, the biggest item, it's going to be one of those that sat under the tree, you've no idea what it is and it's like save the biggest till last, that's the kind of item it is and like I said it's heavy as well, there's a reason being for that. If you are yet to see these, I have seen these before and knew that I was going to get one for a certain family member this year because they love this kind of like pressure feeling, like the weighted feeling, I personally am like I don't know, I don't know if I'd like that but I know that this person will love this, so it is a weighted blanket which helps with like sleep insomnia, anxiety, stress and it is in this gorgeous like grey, so very neutral, perfect for like any home it will go in and it's got like a kind of quilted effect, really really soft, I have felt it already and this one is the 6 kilos, you can log into their website, I'll leave the link below and put in your like measurements for the person you're buying for or if it's for yourself, your like height and weight and everything and it works out the best size and weight for you, so that is the next thing. Now on to my sack of goodies but like I said I will probably continue to show new ideas that I come up with or new gifts that I end up getting throughout Vlogmas, this is like the main present that I've been saving up, I've literally had this sack downstairs in our front room for like weeks whilst I've been buying things to put in, so the next item is UGG slippers, now obviously like this is more of a high-end price point, there is a mixture of things in here from high-end to budget and things that you can get the budget alternative or the high-end alternative of, so I do think these are quite high-end, if you're wanting to treat someone special to a slipper then UGG is the one, I also have seen these you know like budget friendly ones in like Home Bargains, Primark, they do the memory foam ones and I think they're about £4 but like I said these are the UGG ones, super soft, super cosy and you can get them in all different colours and I just think that UGG slippers are a nice gift for men or women, little bit of indulgence, UGG slippers. So the next item is some form of drink, obviously if you're over 18, this is from Caffeine Black, I thought their bottles looked so sophisticated, chic, nice, classy and ones that you can just like have out on display and look really nice, this one comes with the Yorkshire original gin cream liquor, the Yorkshire lemon gin cream liquor which I think sounds amazing and this is the Yorkshire cream liquor made with the finest whiskey and delicious Yorkshire cream. So this is a very indulgent gift, perfect for this time of the year when people are maybe not watching their weight so much and for people in your family who may be like a tipple at Christmas but you want to get something new, something a bit different then these are fab. Ok next idea is clothing, I picked this up from the original factory shop and it in fact as did I pick up this hoodie for myself, this was from the menswear as well. Depends on what age you're buying for, who you're buying for but some form of clothing item I think is always a nice gift to receive, whether it be more formal, more casual, this is just, oh my voice went really funny then, this is just like a casual piece, just a classic Adidas with the three stripe t-shirt in black in a mens large so this will be going to someone this year for Christmas. Ok moving on, something a little more indulgent in terms of chocolates, now again you can get budget alternatives, this is going to be the more high end alternative and it is the Winter Puddings Sleekster palette, so there's 27 cakes, cookies, crumbles and more reinvented in chocolate, I love their Sleekster palettes, I've tried several of them in the past, it's all sealed up so I'm going to leave it like that for now, treacle tarts, chocolate mousse, orange chocolate pop, amazing, Christmas mess, peanut butter cookie, gooseberry crumble, caramelised biscuits, cinnamon bun, there's just so many amazing looking chocolates in there and even on Hotel Chocolat themselves, their website, they have a range of products that you can go from just a few pounds all the way up to hundreds of pounds, so it depends on what your budget is but you can definitely get something from Hotel Chocolat that's more mid range like this or more high end or more budget like stocking filler friendly. Oh in fact, speaking of which, I forgot I put this in here, but again like I was saying some more budget alternatives, this Hotel Chocolat is a little set of a dozen roly poly robins, so this would be a perfect little stocking filler and Hotel Chocolat chocolate is always amazing, as you can tell by the advent calendar that I have because I just love their chocolates. Okay, moving on to a fragrance now, again for a certain someone this year, I'm not going to say who, but I've got this for someone, I nearly gave away then, this is the Azzaro Wanted by Night Eau de Parfum in 50 mls, what I like to do is if I'm wanting to get someone something new, like a new fragrance, is I'll always look online at their notes, so if you pick out their favourite fragrance, have a look online, see what the most common notes and the strongest scents are within the perfume, you can always research that into finding other perfumes that are kind of similar in terms of the notes being the same. So I have a set here from Boots, this is the Number 7 Men Essentials Duo, so in here is a Number 7 Men energising hair and body wash and also an energising face wash, this is £10 but you know with Boots they always run offers of like three for two, this is one of many, many, many gift sets you can get from Boots and this is just the one that I personally went for because I feel like a hair and body wash combo is always a good shout with men. If you are wanting to go a little bit more luxury and high end for men's skin care, men's toiletries, I don't know, I always think Clarins is a good shout for men, it's something again a little more high end, a little less budget friendly but also another good one is Nivea or Boots Number 7 but I think Nivea for men and women is really good, I'm recently trying a moisturiser which I love, got it from Poundland and it's Nivea, it's amazing but again Clarins is another brand that I personally love using and I think Clarins men is really good too so this is the Hydrosculpt and also the UV plus anti-pollution multi-protective cream with an SPF of 50, so I've got those two to give to someone this year, I'm not even sure who I'm going to give that one to yet, I've got an idea but we'll see and then another item that I got is something that I picked up from Poundstretcher, it's actually still in the next bag, this is a diary, I get one of these for Tom every year just because he likes to use a day a page one which can be quite hard to find, let me tell you, so this is the 2019 day a page, they have different colours that you can pick from, I always go for standard black, at only £2.99 you've got like a year planner here, you've got a section at the front where you can put all your personal information, I mean blood group, you can put all sorts in here and then a calendar view like so, travel information which is pretty unusual but I guess interesting and then world time, international dialling codes, metric information, conversion tables, bank and public holidays, international holidays, dates to remember, so loads and then it finally starts with a day a page and then last but not least is something that I showed on my weekly vlog a couple of weeks ago when I went to an event with Feel Unique, they have a variety of little beauty parcels which I just think are such a good idea especially if you're wanting to buy for someone but you don't really know what you want to buy for them, this is a little box curated from all of their like best selling, in this case men's products but they have different ones, they have like a vegan, a luxe edit, I'm just going to run through these pretty quick because I have like I said gone through these on the vlog before, matte moisturiser from MenU, a Mancave original moisturiser, Bed Head for Men TG Lion Tamer, this is a beard and hair balm, a face mask which again if you don't want to go with the full box you can pick up these really really affordable, Primark do them, Home Bargains do them and I think not just for men but for anyone these are a good idea for like stocking fillers and then last but not least is a Gentleman's Tonic Mayfair Exfoliating Facial Scrub and there was only one thing really that I've left out in terms of something that I wanted to include in the men's gift guide and that's some form of like game or toy because I feel like every Christmas guys can be, you know they want to be big kids so not just for kids but like men, they want a Nerf gun or they brought out these old school Nintendo SNES or Sega Mega Drive, I don't know what they're called, Lego, we've in the past bought, well I bought for Tom, I've bought in the past the Lego Mini, the camper van, the VW camper van and the Ferrari. Oh and then one other thing, I will just show you this even though I showed it in yesterday's video again just more as like a reminder is to get some kind of an experience, this was the buy a gift experience that they gifted me and it was afternoon tea with bubbles but what I love about this is you can exchange to the same value any other experience that they have online so if you want to get someone an experience from buy a gift but you're not really sure 100% if they're going to love it and you're a little bit, what do I do? Just get the gift and then they can always exchange it for a different experience up to the same value. I need to do a bit of a tidy up now, so I feel like I might put on a Christmas movie, you know, just enjoy this coffee, enjoy Bruce the Spruce which smells amazing by the way.
