NEW MAYFLOWER CHICKEN & MUSHROOM | FARMFOODS | FOOD REVIEW

Well how we doing out there I hope you're all spot on and thanks for watching the video. Now I have been shopping, I've been to farm foods, come and have a look what I've got. So I've seen this mayflower, chicken and mushroom with sauce and onion. There's a serving suggestion look, does look good I'll be honest. Coming in at 227 grams, look at the best before date 21 42 so I've got another 20 years. This was £1.49 so I've not had it, I've not seen it before and I thought I'll give it a whirl see what it's like. I'm gonna have it with some noodles, I'm gonna fry some noodles in a frying pan and mix it up with that. So let's have a look at the packaging. So there's some nutritional information if you want to pause that and have a look at that by all means go ahead. And they are the ingredients there look. We've got a few allergens in there haven't we, soy, wheat, oysters, soy, yep that's it I think. And it's cooked chicken breast 21% chicken breast, 98% mushrooms, 14% onion, 6%. So I mean yeah it does look it does look pretty good so let's um let's so you can do it in the oven look there's the cooking instructions 30 to 35 minutes. I'll do it in the microwave which I'm gonna do. So let's see if I can get into this well there it is look it's frozen that's that's what you're gonna get look it's just chicken and mushrooms in gravy isn't it I'll be honest. Is it like what you get from your local Chinese takeaway or Chinese restaurant? So I've got to decamp that into a microwavable dish. So I just put it in there look it didn't fit did it for about 30 seconds and now it does fit so it's going back in for five minutes and then you give it a stir and do it for a further three minutes. So it's done it's had eight minutes and I'll be honest there's loads of chicken in there look at all this chicken there's hods of it and mushrooms so let's I'm going to try the sauce I'm going to see what it's like. I'll tell you what I'm going to do I've got some of these noodles and basically I've just got some oil in the pan and I'm just warming them up look let's get a bit of light on the situation I'm just going to put them in that pan there we go just with some oil that's all and then I'm just going to give them a stir now I can find it so just a couple of minutes really that's all they take in there or you can do these in the microwave as well I think these are from there these are from Aldi as well look and doing the microwave for one minute or you can fry them for one or two minutes look give them a stir can't go wrong with noodles can you let's be honest I love them have a look at that so that's quite good with noodles as well some sesame oil just put a sort of a smidgens on there look fry them in you can smell it I love sesame oh that smells good that does smell good I'm just gonna give them a salt in a bit of salt a little bit of pepper so I'm just gonna add this as well to that but I'm gonna I'm gonna leave a bit of them a bit left to try a bit of chicken a bit of sauce and a mushroom just to try at the end oh that'll be good that will be good it's already cooked in the microwave you see so I'm just now I'm gonna dish up so I've put it in the bowl with my noodles and I'm gonna try this obviously this is just as it is before you I put it in the in the bowl like you know so I get a sort of an indication of what it's like smells really good to be fair you can't go wrong with Mayflower I've done quite a few I've got a playlist Mayflower playlist have a look in there I've quite a few Mayflower meals and they've all been great and the curry sauce is lovely isn't it we have that quite often get all different heats with that from normal to extra hot hmm oh that chicken's lovely it's well seasoned it's salty and it's mushroomy it's lovely it really is lovely that's such a cracking sauce that I mean I like I'm gonna get some more of that sauce because that is really good it's quite a gelatinous sauce it's sort of similar to what you get at your Chinese takeaway or restaurant it really is it's mushroomy it's salty that chicken's good as well it's the breast and so yeah so it was there it is look lots of chicken as well have a look there it is not much dissimilar really I'll be honest there's your sauce look so my good lady's just tried it and she said it's really good it is tasty I'll be honest and she and pointing out in the ingredients my good lady noticed it's got oyster sauce in um but it's tasty I'll be honest um it really is tasty another cracking dish for a Mayflower you know it's you can't go wrong with Mayflower I tried the curry and chips let's try it now look like that I know there's a lot on there I am a little bit hungry I'll be honest I tried the curry and chips and they were a portion for one let's be honest I think the only negative bit negative thing I said was could have done with more that's lovely that really is good I'm well impressed with that and the chicken's good as well lovely actually tastes chicken as well I know that's a bit weird but normally chicken especially frozen chicken tend to taste of anything but that actually actually tastes chicken I would I would definitely buy that again that's a good it's £1.49 from farm foods I would buy that again without a shadow of a doubt that's a good that's a good nine nine and a half out of ten it's a cracker and I would buy it again so thanks for watching if you've got this far doff me cap thanks to all the new foodies who've joined the channel recently I really do appreciate that and I'm going live as well um please check out my other channel I'm staying in beer reviews and I've got an interesting beer a lager coming up I'm going to review it probably this afternoon and I'll get it on maybe this afternoon or tomorrow it's a very very different one from where where from where it's come from so thanks for watching take care all the best I'll catch you on the next one
