HUGE JANUARY 2019 PRIMARK TRY ON HAUL | Freya Farrington

Hello guys, welcome back to my channel. Welcome if you are new here. Please stick around and subscribe, it means so, so much to me. I know for those of you who are old school subscribers and followed me throughout the hell of last year, the hell of last year, throughout last year and before, you will know that typically Sundays are my weekly vlogs. I know December changed things up a little bit with Vlogmas, but my weekly vlogs will be starting again next week where you'll be getting, first week is my birthday vlog, the week after that is Amsterdam vlog, and then Sunday vlogs throughout the rest of the year, hopefully, fingers crossed. I mean, I did it throughout the whole of 2018, so I'm sure I can do it throughout 2019 too. But for today's video, I wanted to kickstart the year with a massive Primark haul. I do have another bag down there as well. But I wanted to start it with a Primark haul because it was one of my most loved videos throughout 2018 and when I first started my channel in 2017 as well. So I wanted to start with a big January Primark haul and stay tuned for next Sunday where those of you who love the weekly vlogs and the weekly giveaways that I run throughout them, then stay tuned for next Sunday where I'll be kickstarting those weekly vlogs with a couple of really good ones. So make sure you've got your teas ready, your coffee or, oh my word, rude. Are you a coffee or a tea drinker? Whatever you are, make sure you've got one at the ready, you've got your candles lit, comfies on. Make sure you are ready, set, let's go, woo! Okay, so first, first thing. Some of you guys will recognize this because each and every single time I've been into Primark, I've been saying, oh, should I get it, should I not? Oh, I don't know what to do. I got it. It is this like aviator style jacket. You can tell this one's brand new because all the hardware and everything is all tissue papered up, so it's brand new, which makes me very happy. It's got the faux fur lining, which is so, so soft, and it's nice and thick, so it's gonna keep me super, super warm in these cold months because it's still, well, it's winter here until March, so we're gonna be having our coats out here in the UK for a while. So I picked up and took advantage of the fact that it was in the sale from 30 pounds down to 15, so I'm so glad I waited. I have to admit, January sales, Primark do have a lot of sales on, so if you want a real, real bargain, then do head to Primark. I got this one in a size 10, 15 pounds of bargain. On the complete opposite scale, I got a bikini. I am set and ready for Dubai in March because it's gonna be hot, so I'm shopping for Dubai already. Ooh, I'm so excited, never been before. Have you guys been? Let me know any recommendations if you have. You guys know I'm not a big fan or I don't tend to gravitate, hey, lol. I don't tend to gravitate toward, ugh. You guys know I don't tend to gravitate towards color all too often, but I picked myself this bold, like, orangey-red, bright-colored bikini because when in Dubai, why not, hey? It's got this crinkled kind of material effect, really thick and comfy, and then these are the bottoms. I actually went for a 12 in the bottoms just because I quite like wearing them a little bit higher, like so, and yeah, so I went for 12 in the bottoms, nice and comfy, and a 10 in the top. Six pound, the top was, and the bottoms were four pound. Can't believe they've got their bikini and swimwear out already, but I hope they bring this out in more colors because I think I will end up picking up more of those. Next up, another sale item and another cozy, casual, comfy kind of item is these, like, PJ bums. They are stripy beige and cream. They are in a size 10 to 12, which is a small. I always thought 10 to 12 was medium in Primark. Maybe they've changed it up, I don't know. They were originally eight pounds, reduced down to just three. I like to have a bit of a clear-out declutter of my PJs at this time of year because I, let me just let that siren go past, because, let's be honest, the quality of Primark, when you first get them, especially, like, these cozy PJs, I love, but I wear them a lot, and they don't wash and wear too well, so every year I tend to change them up, get rid, buy new again. When Christmas comes around again next year, I'll be buying some more of, like, the fair isle print, cozy, Christmassy pajamas, so this is, like, a refresher for an all-year-round kind of PJ bums, and they look quite big for a small. Like, I first saw these all in Excel, and I thought, oh, here we go, but it's gonna be one of those rails where it's just complete opposite size to what you need in, but then I went round and there were other sizes available, so I grabbed a medium. They looked quite big, so I ended up picking up a small, three pounds. That's a lot of explaining to do for a pair of PJ bums. Okay, this is also another item that I've seen several times when going in and also by watching other people's Primark hauls because of the affordability of it. It's just a plain, cropped, like, not massively cropped, but semi-cropped, I'd say, sweater. Now, this is in a large, so for reference, be warned, be warned. Just know that it's a large, and at full price, it's only five pounds, and I thought it was five pounds, but when I took it to the till, two pounds, so what a bargain. They've got these in gray as well, something to wear with high-waisted jeans like these ones. Oh, speaking of which, the straight jeans in Primark were reduced from 13 pounds down to five, so if I didn't already have every single color, I would've bought some more, but if you are after some straight-style jeans, the ones that I always rave about, the Primark ones are reduced. Well, they were in ours, anyway, in the Burnley one, so yeah. Keep your eyes peeled in your local Primark to see if these have been reduced, and I highly, highly recommend that you get your hands on some. Okay, another jumper that I got, again, was reduced down. This one was from 10 pounds down to five. Oh my God. I did not know I got it in a size 2XL, which is a size 22 to 24. Didn't know that, but I just kind of looked at it as if that is a 24. I'm sorry, but that just looks like an oversized fit large or something. Anyway, I got it. It's in this rust color. It's in the chenille fabric, which is so soft. Again, I've had a couple of these in the past from Primark, and because I wear them to death, like I wear them a lot, I tend to wash them a lot, and therefore they lose that kind of initial chenille fabric, but when you're paying five pound, I don't mind freshening them up and changing them up every so often. It's a bit different for me as well, isn't it? The color, it's kind of matching my bobble. In fact, I think this satin orange rust colored scrunchie is also Primark. Again, another bargain. Thank you, Primark. Some cozy socks I always like, especially at this time of the year when I wear boots pretty much all winter. I love wearing these cozy socks with them, and these ones were actually in the sale, believe it or not, from one pound 80 down to a pound, so I picked them up. There's like a stripy gray, white, pink pair, and then just a plain, oh no, it's not plain pink, pink with white polka dots, so picked them up. Another item of clothing that was in the sale that I've not actually tried on yet, so I need to see how they look. If I end up keeping them and styling them up, I'll probably put them on my Instagram, which is tryandfarrington1. Would love it if you went over and followed me if you don't already, and these were again reduced down from 13 pounds to five. Got them in a size 12. Now holding them up, they look pretty sheer. Hmm. They're maybe more of like an evening with like a black bodysuit kind of pants. We'll try them on, and I'll show you guys what they look like on just so that you can see in this video, but if I do end up keeping them, you'll see on my Instagram how I end up styling them up. Moving on to a staple item that I always pick up, 80p, it always says new lower, oh, new lower price, 90p? They've gone up in price! Nevermind new lower price, 90p. They used to be 80p. Oh, scandal. These were also in the sale, the Madagascan Vanilla Rediffusers. They had the smaller ones at, I think they were reduced down to about a pound. No, they were from a pound down to 80p, and these ones were from three pounds down to two, so I ended up just picking up a bigger one, because why not? It's still a bargain at two pounds. Lasts up to eight weeks. I am skeptical about how these actually, how much they actually give off in terms of the scent and how well they actually work, but I do always like to have a reed diffuser out. I think they look pretty, and in our spare room, I've just thrown one away that was also from Primark. Now, we don't really use the spare room other than a walk-in wardrobe, so it's nice to have a reed diffuser in there, but even if it's just a Primark one, it's fine by me, and I like the coloring of this one. It's just plain cream, and the reeds are like a natural wooden brown. A couple of bathroom items that I picked up were these, they are to replace ones that we've already got that I just need to bin now. They're old and well-used, so restocked up on a shower puff at a pound. It's got a little sticky grip thing that you can put in the shower as well, handy, and then these, I always use these. If you've never used one of these, then you're missing out, because if you've got long hair or if you use the towel turban, whereby it's just a massive big towel on your head, these are far better, far more easier to keep your hair, because they've got a little button at the back, and you just kind of wrap your hair in it, button it up, and you can literally whip your hair back and forth, whip your head back and forth, and it wouldn't budge. So, these are two pounds, the ones in Primark. Primark? Yeah, Primark. They do have these in Poundland. Don't get them from Poundland, because they're not a good shape. They don't hold well, and they're fresh, but shh, still love Poundland. The Primark ones are far better at two pounds, so definitely recommend one of those. Last couple of bits here, and firstly, some grips. These ones, now that I have, I mean, you can't really tell today, but I've recently had more of a fringe cut in, and it's the sort of thing that when, like today, when your hair needs a wash, I've got a little curvy grip in there now, but when I, perhaps my hair doesn't necessarily need a wash, but I just want my fringe off my face, I really like the look of the tiny, tiny, tiny little grip here, this one at the bottom, to just, like, literally grip there, and then the rest of my hair is down. Yeah, there's a selection of different grips here for a pound, so there's not really much else I need to say about that. Okay, last but not least, I have these touchscreen compatible 100% leather gloves. Sorry for any vegans out there. These are 100% leather. They do have faux leather as well. These ones were only seven pounds. Got them in a size medium. The fact that they're touchscreen compatible is fab. I was planning on wearing these in Amsterdam because I like to be, we're gonna be out and about, and it's gonna be cold, but I wanna be on my phone and at the ready to, like, take pictures and Instagram stories and all that kind of thing, so the fact that these are touchscreen compatible is just brilliant. They also had these in brown, and they were in the sale, two five pounds, so I wanted black, so I ended up just paying the two extra pounds. Seven pounds these ones were. Love them. Quick interjection, just show you what I got that was in this bag, and it's this, which I love the look of, especially, like, moving into 2019, new goals. A little weekly planner. So, as you can see, each day is, like, Monday through to Sunday ideas, so if I've got any meetings, video ideas, that kind of thing, and it's not dated, so you can just do it whenever you feel like it. This, I love the, like, front cover as well. Weekly action plan. This is a four size, and it was two pounds. Another thing that I forgot to show you as well, which was also in that little brown bag, was this clip. Again, as you can see, it was at two pounds. I just thought this was beautiful. Look how shiny it is. So, so pretty. It's quite like a heavy metal clip, like a grippy clip you can just use to clip your hair back. I just thought for two pounds that was really nice. I thought it reminded me of something you'd find, like, in Zara or something. So, two pound mega bargain. Wanted to show you both of these and not leave them out. So, now we can go back to the video.
