Why fly from Melbourne Australia to Sydney Australia when we can just take a one way cruise that also happens to visit the breathtaking natural beauty of New Zealand? Nope, we couldn't think of any reasons either so we're boarding the ship start the adventure. Cruising through Milford Sound and Dusky Sound gives us a whole new view and perspective from we we traveled New Zealand by land earlier this year. During a port day we enjoy hiking all over and around the charming little town of Port Chalmers. Thankfully the sun is shining for our day in Wellington where we visit the Lady Norwood Begonia House and everyplace else we can walk to. We make the best of our time in Picton and hike the surrounding hills and valleys. Simply gorgeous. We enjoy an amazing cruise through the Queen Charlotte Sound before disembarking in amazing Sydney! A note on the ship: Radiance of the Seas is our new favorite ship in the Royal Caribbean fleet.
