about to leave already packing come with me i'm not really asking we'll get away to a place where we don't know how to see the world in action what we can be life with no distractions this is what we waited for take my hand we'll make it somehow we can't miss out i'm done living life with the lights out die with my own doubts good morning everybody and welcome to the dubai vlog we traveled over yesterday the manchester flight left at about nine in the morning so it meant that we flew in and arrived around 9 p.m something like that yeah we landed at eight but we didn't get back to the hotel till probably about closer to nine we're staying at hilton the walk so we're right on is it jumeirah the beach jumeirah so i'll show you our view as you can tell from the hotel window it's actually a bit dirty this window there's the big wheel there and then all along here is pretty much the beachfront and loads of restaurants so the one that we found and went to last night was cheesecake factory which i was so excited to go to anyway i just need to put on some jewelry and sort my hair i don't don't know what i'm doing with it yet i've got this dress on from debenhams and then i'm going to take my new bag that they sent me as well from faith so again from debenhams it's this nice little snakeskin one i also wanted to just mention this section of the video is kindly sponsored by captain managed to get in all the essentials like the camera magazines liquids books but also i put in there my sandleron because i didn't want to put that in the main luggage holder so it's very easy to carry this one around and it actually makes me realize how much easier it is without just having hand luggage to check in because you pretty much just walk through the airport with a little backpack and it's fine so i'll leave a link to that backpack below but like i said they do have lots of other alternatives and different sizes and everything available the other one that i have is great for more like trekking and when we're going out and about walking doing pendle hill and everything because you can fit much more in there so very excited to go out exploring today we're gonna maybe well first stop we're gonna go grab some breakfast around here i'm gonna shoot this outfit because i am working with devinems on this gorgeous dress i absolutely love it and the bag as well so i just need to put some jewelry on sort out my hair head out for breakfast and go exploring we're gonna go to a place called expectations which has been recommended and it's a 15 minute wait so we're just waiting with this as our view we've come to the fountains it's a little bit windy we're gonna watch the light show right now which we saw a little bit driving in of one previously so we're gonna get some food in between as well that wasn't that was just an advert oh god that's so fancy here isn't it it's massive we've got our little uh station that we're just in front of so we just watched the show it was really impressive and now we're going to din tai fung for chinese food dumplings yeah tom wants some dumplings and apparently they do really good dumplings here so we've eaten it was all right well i'll show you the aquarium when we reach it the mom said you know when you say it's like the trapper center if not it's a little bit bigger than the traffic pottery barn here which american viewers all know what that is i was tempted but what am i gonna buy there then there's the aquarium over there how much is it to go in tom's just said you literally you know in finding nemo when they spell out oh fresh strawberry frappe get some of that for me i've introduced tom to a new brand cos you managed to pick up a couple of bits before coming away didn't you but he's obsessed we don't have one in manchester though just um leads this one yeah i love it it's like in between zara and reese i think not no there was a bath and body works here this is so american we're gonna watch one last light show and then probably head back it's about 11 by the time we get back good morning this is day three of dubai um i didn't vlog yesterday because i knew we were gonna pretty much be having like a pool day and just kind of staying around this area we got up we went to the gym we had a little mini workout then we walked over across the road onto the walk and had a bite to eat and a coffee like i said we had pretty much a beach day uh we saw some camels on the beach which i'll insert a little clip here of when we saw them i managed to get on my iphone 7 plus using portrait mode so um yeah that was cool to see them and then the evening was meant to be um we were going to go and see friends but we ended up rearranging that for monday i think we're going to do that we ended up waiting around here because we thought that we're going to be fireworks there were due to be fireworks tonight and yesterday yesterday we were at the mall so no sorry day before yesterday we were at the mall but yesterday there was also meant to be fireworks so we thought we'd hang around and we actually went to the rooftop of our hotel which ended up having a like a bit of a party so we just stayed up there for a while in between we nipped down and went for some food at like a turkish place then came back up for the fireworks for 9 p.m got to 9 30 there was still no fireworks so we called it a night um about 10 o'clock half 10 ish came back down to the room and then just had an early night really because we are up fresh this morning and we've booked tickets to go to the atlantis the palm their water park today we were going to do the tickets with the dolphin experience but it was quite significantly more expensive we were still like on the verge of doing it but i read the reviews and everything and although it's a really good attraction you do only get 30 minutes of which it's in a group so you actually only get like three rides with the dolphins apparently which would have been amazing but we can't take cameras or anything like that either so we can't document it so we ended up just booking the general admission i'm still not gonna be able to take this camera though we will take phones so hopefully maybe get some footage there but the atlantis the palm has the um the water park has the big shoot which tom says he's not gonna do but i'm definitely gonna do it like in between the pyramids it shoots kind of through the shark tank and then there's also a slower one which you can get like in a double ringy double ring that also then bobs through the shark tanks so i'm really excited for that there's a beach there there's lots of different lazy rivers and swimming pools and slides so we're just gonna have a day of fun followed by probably an evening spent here we might come back depending on what time we finish have a bit of time around the pool here and the beach and just chill out because especially if we are out at a water park all day it's probably going to be a bit more full-on it's 40 stories tall this building and tom's just managed to run up and down twice as his morning workout i got to like floor 15 and then called it a day probably insert some footage if we do manage to get any today i've been doing a lot on my instagram stories doing a lot of highlights as well so if you missed that i have a little highlight titled dubai if you wanted to watch it we've also booked tickets to see la pearl which is like a water aquatic show that is on tuesday today is a day at the water park i've got this swimming costume on which is from primark because if we're going on water slides i feel like a swimming costume is an essential over a bikini and i will catch you in a bit and we're back oh i thought you were naked then that lvl lashes are holding out well so i'm gonna have a shower now and hair wash and everything and get ready for this evening but because we ate that ice cream i'm not that hungry so the football is on on the walk which is just down here man united playing arsenal at about 8 30 dubai time p.m so we're gonna go down and watch that we've got the room card key all right finally takes you forever to get ready wait not me you sure you've got it because there's one in there i'm wearing tonight this blazer from h&m which was thrifted this uh jumpsuit which is it's going to be a bit echoey in here jumpsuit from label mix from next last summer and then this bag is also from next last summer uh earrings are aurelia this little shell necklace which i love is from primark and this i think is anna luisa shoes are boohoo and you may think that's an ugly set of stairs for a hilton hotel we found the stuff staircase gets us out much quicker so i don't even know if i'm meant to be here but see this is definitely stuff only linen chute then that over there is a restaurant that you have in the sky but i think there is a place called claw which is just here which i really want to try like crab and okay back whoa are there the other ones left yeah yes i prefer these anyway you can have the minstrels i prefer these giant buttons and then we also had the maltesers which were good but i think they're all gone i thought we did have a few left maybe they're in their hand luggage somewhere no i think oh unless they're in that wh smith there go on yeah oh there i'll finish them then no look how many's left i'll keep the camera tomorrow chill day tomorrow and we might be going to see tom's friends in the evening bedtime hi it is now tuesday and we have come to a restaurant in our hotel but it's only just recently opened it's called mango tree really really nice and we're coming for like a pre-show dinner because we're actually going to lapel tonight which i'm so excited for i knew i wanted to go as soon as i knew we were coming to dubai so um really looking forward to that i'll try and get a few clips but in the meantime whilst tom has a look at the menu and orders us some food i thought i would just run through what we got up to yesterday because i didn't vlog but i did get a few clips so we started the morning with breakfast at ihop which was so good i really wanted to go there we actually ended up going this morning as well yesterday we ordered the pancakes and um shared and then also this morning i went for the french toast because i really wanted to try that too it was like a combo thing where you got the um like bacon eggs and hash brown as well so that was delicious then we nipped to a local supermarket and had a browse around there but stopped up on water because it's so much cheaper buying water from the supermarkets and then we also stumbled across some dogs which obviously sucker for a dog we actually saw a cute little king charles spaniel that came up to us we never found out who the owner was so hoping he wasn't lost that is what we did before heading to the beach which we actually didn't chill out first of all we ended up walking around to the wheel which was a fair walk um and kind of explored that area which was um very new and still being built after coming back from that wheel walk we ended up going for a lunch just locally what cuisine would you say it was that one we went to yesterday that you really liked like halloumi with eggs arabian and then yeah we ended up with arabian in the evening as well we witnessed a proposal which was cute pretty much just had a beach day stayed by the beach getting through my book which is the follow-on's girl on the train it's not a follow-on but it's by the same author into the water i think it's called really really good then we went to the top of our hotel which is called pure sky lounge for a drink for sunset to um yeah basically just watch the sunset before heading out for some dinner and then of course we ended it with buying a cheesecake factory cheesecake pop that in the fridge and there's still a little bit left so that was pretty much what we did yesterday and today is very much the same beach day topping up the tan it's really the first day so we're gonna have some food and then we'll head to the show and see where we get because it's too late which is where we're staying the hilton's just there and we're gonna go find some dessert like maybe some ice cream or some frozen yogurt and then call it a night so it is the final night tonight we are heading home tomorrow we're going to the airport around 11 a.m ish 11 30 so we have the morning to get up and have breakfast and just relax but last day by the pool and everything today and we actually sat by the beach all day so very nice and relaxing but obviously not much to vlog so i thought before we head out tonight i've got a little burnt patch there which is a bit annoying before we head out tonight again we're just going to keep it local get some food around here and just have a wonder there were a couple of things we were going to do and then we ended up just being you know what last day let's just enjoy it let's just chill out i've got through pretty much the majority of my book i have just a couple of chapters left so i'll probably end up finishing that tomorrow this is the book into the water paula hawkins that was talking about so good so yeah a few chapters left on that which i can finish at the airport tomorrow and i thought i would just run through because i'm not really vlogged today run through my sort of like every every i'll say every day every night makeup routine like my go-to makeup that i've been wearing whilst here so i'll spin you around to show you what i've been using and may i just say this bag by the flat lay company has just been a lifesaver because it's so handy you just open it up have everything there and then drawstring it closed when finished so this is pretty much the entire setup of everything that i've been using starting over this side i've been using this as like a bit of a primer but it's really like shimmery and it just leaves a nice glisten to your skin before applying any foundation or anything it's called the neod photography fluid opacity 12 and then rather than like a foundation i've been using this which is pretty much like foundation it is the la mer reparative skin tint with an spf of 30 in it and i got it in light medium 03 this is the color perfect for me when i'm tanned so i've been using that along with a well loved lasting perfection concealer from collection and then on my brows this i've literally more or less just finished i might as well just bin it after i use it tomorrow morning it's pretty much all gone it's the benefit precisely my brow pencil in shade three and then i've got the gimme brow plus just to set the brows again in shade three for bronzer i've got this mini laguna i have a big one at home but this is just a really handy travel size so i bring that one with me i've also got a mini hoola in here as well but for some reason my go-to has just been laguna this trip and then this is again a mini sized orgasm blush yes whoa i've actually had this for so long and i use it all the time at home as well and it hasn't even hit pan yet so really generous small sample size there and then moving over to like highlight i've been using the iconic london illumination drops in original which is like my favorite and then just to make it really glowy i've been using this laura geller baked illuminator in gilded honey and then to set everything i've been using the hourglass mineral veil powder this first time i've used this and it is good i like the finish of it but i just have to shake out shake it a lot to get a lot of product out if that makes sense compared to what i've used previously love the primer of this as well but i only have a large size at home so i just thought i would bring that one instead and then if i have been using palettes i've been using the urban decay naked petite heat and the anastasia beverly hills soft glam palette let me just show you this one because it's fairly new and so it looks fairly neat and tidy but yeah some really pretty gold shimmery colors there and transition kind of kind of colors so love that mascara i just brought the one roller lash and then for lips my favorite lip liner all-time favorite is the number seven precision lips pencil in nude and then i've been using the bobby brown lip gloss which is in it's actually called the crushed liquid lip in lighty baby and then to set everything i have just been using this iconic london prep set glow absolutely love this if you can see the shimmers to it can you see that it's super super pretty this is nice just on its own without any makeup as well so that is everything i've been using little trick if you also have a fringe i tend to just if it needs a wash just wash the fringe and blow dry that and style it every time this was gifted to me from amazon fashion i'll try and leave a link to it below if i can find it but it's a really nice brand called i think it's fable and something i'll leave it links below but yeah really like that so we've come to a place that we have been to before and it was so good we ordered shawarma it's called merced farm to table barbecue so we might get something to share here something elsewhere to share as well maybe five guys burger we'll see and then there's like a haagen-dazs ice cream place there's a frozen yogurt place so we like to get lots of little bits and share everything it's just the way we do it so for that person on the amsterdam blog that said you eat far too much tom run because she's gonna be the size of a house see ya we're also car spotting out in dubai what's the most expensive car we've seen or what was that gt3 that's my favorite favorite silver with a red interior but what's the most expensive one that other porsche we saw today maybe 918 spider not a clue what that is is this a nice one this is a hurricane spider, not a clue again i'm not really asking we'll get away to a place where we don't know the world in action
