What can I say, I guess I'm not such a great fisherman, Not a single bite *%@#?!!. We were definitely doing something wrong. We decided to try again next week and then cook the same meal on the Folding Firebox Nano.

At least the meal was a success. Poaching the trout in the top section of our Stainless Steel Camping Pot while cooking rice down below worked great. The Steel Head Trout was moist and delicious and the rice was fluffy and fully cooked without being at all burned on the bottom.

I pre-loaded the 5" Folding Firebox Campfire Stove completely and let it burn from the top down. Doing this gave me a high temp at first to get the water boiling and then the bed of hot coals gave me the perfect simmering temp to finish the meal. I did add a little more wood but after reviewing the video I can see that I really didn't need to.
