Hi guys, welcome back to my channel, welcome back to a brand new video. Today I have a
big Boohoo haul, but it's not just like any other ordinary Boohoo haul, it is part of
their recycle collection that I have shopped. So firstly, just to be completely transparent
with you guys, Boohoo very kindly reached out to me, they are sponsoring this video
and they have sent me a whole host of goodies from the recycle range, of which I have chosen
out some of my favourite picks. I will leave links to everything down below in the description
box along with a discount code. And you can find more information about their recycle
range on their website, but just to give you an overview of what it is, they have introduced
For The Future, which is a campaign to help promote sustainability. They're trying to
improve the brand, become more sustainable. They've set up the hashtag campaign for the
future and hashtag do your thing in order to look good as well as doing good for the
environment. That is their main principle around building this campaign and promoting
this clothing range. As always, I'm going to be completely transparent, honest and open
with you guys on what I think of the collection. If you want to see more about sustainability
in fashion, I tend to do quite a lot of thrifting videos and I also want to get more into doing
hauls and showcasing more sustainable fashion ranges. So any suggestions of alternative
brands you want to see me review, just pop them in the comments below. If you haven't
already subscribed, please do and don't forget to hit that notification bell to be notified
every time I upload. And without further ado, let's get on to the haul. Just another little
note that their current dispatch bags are recyclable. Another thing I will say is that
a lot of the items that I'm going to show you do come in a variety of colors. So if
you don't already know and you are new to my channel, I am a fan of the neutrals. I
like the earthy kind of tones, the ecrus, creams, whites, blacks. There's a bit of sage
green in here, but I am going to start with a bit of a color and pattern that I have chosen
from the collection. And it is this gorgeous blue and white pattern here, which I feel
is very holiday appropriate. So first of all, I got a dress and first thing, the fabric
is very, very soft. So this is the labeling that you are looking out for. If you type
into the search box, recycle, you will see all the recycle items from the range. And
in this dress in particular, they were sold out in my size. So I opted for a 12. It's
got a nice little V neck front, which is very flattering along with a slight ruching at
the back with a little frill at the bottom. I can envisage wearing this on holiday with
some strappy sandals, straw hats, straw bag, maybe wooden bag. And it's giving me Capri
vibes. I absolutely love the pattern of that and now I need to book a holiday.
The other two items that I got in the same print pattern is this two piece set with a
skirt and top. The skirt on this is mini and this is the secondary labeling that you want
to look out for when it comes to the recycle range. So this is in a 10, I picked it up
in and it is very mini, which for me, I don't typically go for a mini skirt. So I'll try
it on and see how I like it on. But again, I think it would be more holiday appropriate.
Love the little ruffle detail and the matching top to go with it is very simply like a cropped
tee in the exact same fabric, a nice scoop neck detail. So it's not too low and plunging
with it being short on the skirt and probably a bit of midriff as well. I like the fact
that it's a bit of a higher scoop neck, a very pretty two piece. I love cowards because
you can get so many different outfits from just the two piece. You can wear them together,
separate, casual dressing. So yeah, love that. The next two items that I picked up are both
dresses and they're both in the ecru color. Now the only negative that I would probably
say from the range is that I wish there were more options of the ecru color available with
the other items. I don't know if they're looking to bring that in a little bit more or not.
I'm not sure, but I love this color and it's probably my favorite one from the whole collection.
So yeah, that's my only negative that I would sort of say is that I wish that they had more
options available in this ecru color. Nonetheless, these two are available. They're both dresses.
This is the first one, which I think is my favorite of the two just because it's got
that little cute frill detail there. Very girly and feminine and one that will be perfect
for a spring, summer type occasion. The quality of this is superior to what I thought it would
be. I didn't have high hopes for the quality just because I thought, you know, being sustainable,
you might sacrifice and you might find the quality's not quite as good. Boohoo are always
very generous with their discount codes and offers that they run. So look out for the
promotions and offers. This again is another label that you want to look out for. And then
the other dress in this ecru color, this nice cream, neutral, natural kind of color is this.
I got both of these dresses in a 10 and this one is far more boxy, plain and simple, kind
of like a tunic style dress. Midi length with a little slit on either side, nothing too
drastic. Plain and simple dress that you can just throw on or equally you can kind of style
up a little bit more with maybe a waist belt again, straw hat and espadrilles or some strappy
sandals. I think that will be a good just throw on dress, whether it be a beach dress, a holiday
dress, a dress in the UK when it is a little bit warmer that you just want to throw on and you're
so hot and sticky because we're not equipped with air con here in the UK. That's going to be a go
to for me. Moving on to the next item, which is actually a two piece set again and it's in this
gorgeous sage color, which I mentioned earlier. Sage is beautiful. I know we're leading into
summer now, but this has been a huge trend throughout spring and I feel like it's going
to continue on throughout summer as well and even into autumn. It's quite an autumnal color with it
being a shade of green. This is what the top looks like. As you can see, it's Bardot style,
which is one of my favorite top designs. I love off the shoulder. I love being able to just pop
a bit of highlight on the collar bone and just look all glowy and dewy and hydrated for summer.
This is what the Bardot top looks like. It has the ruching detail at the front there if you did want
to cinch up. It is very cropped, but the skirt that comes with it is very high waisted. It's
got a nice thick waistband, nice long line leg. If you can see that, it's like a mid-axe and it
has a slit as well, so you're not going to be walking like this. You can actually walk
normally because of the split, if you know what I mean. That fabric is the exact same. It has that
wide rib detail. I love ribbing on basics. I feel like it makes it feel thicker and a bit more
expensive. That Bardot top would look lovely with some high-waisted jeans or, again, straw hat,
straw bag. I'm feeling lots of holiday vibes with these pieces. Okay, I have a couple of
slogan tees from the collection now. They do have quite a wide range, so if you are all for promoting
sustainability, then they do have a couple of slogan tees available, some of which are in this
cropped vest style in black and white. This one has no plastic head. I am recycled and reloved.
Planet love at Boohoo. Very thick fabric, that one, so nice with some high-waisted jeans. Very
simple. Love a slogan tee. Then I've got this one in white just to show you the difference and to
test the sheerness of the white. Official repeat washing instructions. I love that. It's not like
in-your-face sustainable, but cute little slogan tee nonetheless. In fact, I'll leave that in focus
for you guys if you wanted to screenshot and have a read. You can probably see here that you cannot
see my hand. I don't know how well that's going to show, but yeah, really impressed with the quality
and don't fear the white. Next up, I have a long dress. This is a maxi one in black, and I thought
this would be fab for a beach dress. I love a maxi dress. I know they can be quite glam, and you may
even think maybe more evening wear, but I love long maxi, whether it be skirt or dress, on holiday,
on the beach. I think it's so floaty and flowy, and sometimes maybe you do want to be covered.
Maybe you've caught the sun a bit too much on day one, and you need to be a bit more covered,
so why not go for a maxi dress? They do look glam, but who cares? You're on holiday,
right? You can look glam if you want to look glam on the beach. It has this gorgeous crossover
detail on the front over the boob area, which allows a big cutout detail there on the front.
I got another two-piece. Big fan of the cowards, as I mentioned earlier, and this one is a little
more covered, so it can be quite slouchy, quite comfy, maybe more loungewear style, or as I said
previously with cowards, you can wear them as separate and dress them up completely different.
This is the top, very boxy fit, a very good basic go-to. Has a little knot detail, and I like the
fact that the knot detail is on the side. Even though I do have a lot of items with the knot
in the middle, I do find if it's on the side, it's a little more flattering because if it is
in the middle, it can bulk out your stomach area, and no one wants to look bigger on your tummy,
do you? I've not really been mentioning sizing, but bar that first dress that I got in a 12,
everything that I got was in a 10. The bottoms are long, full length, wide leg pants. Exact
same fabric. I'll show you a bit more closer up. That wide rib detail makes it less sheer. Well,
why not wear this to the beach? Nice pair of wide leg maxi trousers with a little black triangle
bikini on holiday to a beach bar or a pool party. Very glam, and I love it. Last but not least,
I've got a handful of basic tops now. The first two that I'm going to show you are both in this
sage color again that I love, but like I said before, they come in a variety of colors. If
this sage green isn't for you, then they do have more options available. This is a high neck racer
back top, very basic, plain and simple. It falls perfectly with high-waisted jeans. I like a bit
of midriff on the odd occasion, so it's not too extreme and drastic. For me, it's the perfect
length for a crop. They do have more colorful options available. They have a really pretty
corally pink and orange pattern of dresses and skirts and tops and two pieces, all sorts,
but you guys know me. I couldn't go for that because it's just not my style, but definitely
if you are a more colorful person and you like pinks and oranges, then you'll probably love those
pieces that they have. Then I also picked up this sage top. It's more of a wrap style. This is it
currently under. Then this just ties here and has a little wrap detail on the side. A nice scoop
neck, very flattering neckline. I can't wait to wear this styled with probably I would wear my
cream mom jeans, something like that, or even denim shorts as it gets warmer. I also got a
bodysuit. This again came in the green and also black. I nearly went for black, but I thought I
would test the quality of the white, but I am very impressed with the thickness of it. Whether
or not I would go braless with it, I'm not sure yet. I need to try it on. You'll see in the try
on clip, but I probably would just pair a little strapless bra with this. It goes into a cheeky
bottom, not quite thong, but not full brief. They're probably my favorite because you don't
have the VPL, but if you have a longer body, they're not going to suffocate your nether regions,
if you know what I mean. The only thing I'd probably say is a little bit of a pain,
but you can easily cut it out, is that the recycle tab is on the outside with a little green heart,
and I wouldn't mind keeping that on, but I think it detracts from the simplicity of the piece,
so I probably would just cut that out to be completely honest. It's not like a deal breaker.
Okay, I got two basic black crop tops. They vary in two ways. Firstly, the cut and the neckline,
which as you can tell, this one is a strappy strap, like a spaghetti strap, and more of a
square neckline, and the fabric is that same ribbed, wide ribbed fabric that we've been
seeing throughout the rest of the range. The other basic crop that I went for, I wish they had more
pieces available in this material because I think it's more forgiving when it comes to going
braless, if you're the type of girl that likes to go braless. This is like a double lined,
there's no ribbing on it or anything, very simple fabric, which like I said, because it's double
lined, just makes it that extra bit thicker. I also love this because of the square neckline,
it's the same on the back. This could even be like a little bralette, or like a layering piece,
if you have something that you need to wear something like this under it. And the last top
that I got, and the very last item of the items that I picked out from this recycle range by Boohoo
is this. Again, another Bardot top, I absolutely love Bardot tops. You can ruch this middle section
and then just bow it as tight or as loose as you desire. So if you're wanting it more cropped,
then you just ruch it up even more. Matilda, who is like a dream of mine, she is a big inspiration
over on Instagram. If you don't know who I'm talking about, I think her Instagram handle is
matildadjeff. I think she's Swedish based, but she is beautiful. I love her Instagram and I've
noticed she's modeling for Boohoo. Can't remember if it's this piece or another one, but I'm sure
you guys know who I'm talking about. If not, definitely check her Instagram out. That is
everything that I picked up from the recycle range. I hope you enjoyed this haul. Give it a thumbs up
if you did. Any other suggestions of more sustainable fashion type videos, do pop them
in the comments down below and I will hope to see you all in my next video. Bye guys.
