Hey guys, it's Mike.
It's Dan.
Okay, so we've done epic Chinese tattoo fails before,
where people got Chinese characters tattooed on themselves
and honestly had no idea what they really meant.
Anyway, some people have exotic tastes,
but today we are not talking about Chinese tattoo fails.
Today we're talking about English tattoo fails
because, you know, Chinese people, they make some mistakes too.
All right, guys, let's take a look at some of these funny English tattoo fails.
I can't wait.
First off, we've got Sweet P.
This isn't the food Sweet P.
This is Sweet P.
You know, they definitely wanted a different kind of P,
but they ended up with this.
All right, number two, Regret No Hing.
I love to regret No Hing.
That's right.
Who's No Hing?
Yeah, No Hing is someone you want to regret.
This person is both confident and wise.
As all hipster teens like to say these days,
regret nothing.
Or in this case, regret No Hing.
Close enough, right?
You would think that tattoo artists would have like a dictionary
or like an online like...
Well, look, you know, people make mistakes,
but in these cases, I guess it's much more permanent.
Yeah, you know, it's actually kind of a shame.
I mean, other than the fact that this stuff is permanent
and tattoo removal costs like an arm and a leg and maybe a liver.
Just think, this guy was one letter away from being a walking poetic cliche.
Next.
I like this one.
You like this one?
Yeah.
I'm not a huge fan of him.
I like a few of his songs.
Yeah.
Living on a Prayer.
I mean, that's about it.
I mean, seriously, like, seriously.
Do I know?
That's from him.
Like, do you know more than two Bon Jovi hits?
Come on, man.
I do like country music.
So, you know, he is a fan of the Patriots.
I know.
So, but we're talking about Jon Bon Jovi.
But in this case, we're talking about Jon Bovee.
I mean, look at this.
It is Jon Bovee.
Ah, so many things wrong with this.
So permanent.
Oh, what can be done?
Oh, how can people screw things up like this?
For this one, we have something that is both vaguely threatening
and brings out all of the inner grammar geeks.
You're next.
Seriously, though, this is probably one of the most understandable fails.
Right.
Okay, you can't really blame the tattoo artist.
Well, you actually should.
Well, but this one's an easy one.
This one, okay.
He ran out of fingers.
Let's just put it that way, right?
Right.
You just don't have enough fingers for that.
Right.
But from his gold chains, black clothes, and choice of tattoo,
correcting his grammar probably won't be the first thing you'll want to do
if you ever bump into him.
Next.
Everybody loves their mom, right?
That's right.
So this guy obviously wanted to show his appreciation to his mom.
So he said, uh, my mom is my angle.
Because moms are angles.
That's right.
But what if he was trying to say, my mom is my right angle?
You know, because that's like, that's like,
How does that make any sense?
Well, I'm just saying that could be another way of saying like,
she's so righteous.
She's like a right angle.
Yeah, no one said that.
No, this guy clearly was trying to say my mom is my angel or is an angel.
Why can't he just do the typical thing and just get like a heart with mom on there?
I mean, whatever happened to that?
Just get the word mom.
I mean, that's like so 1980s and 90s.
Now instead of your mom being your angel, she's your angle, which is sad.
All right.
This one, I'm just going to shake my head at this one.
Thanks matter for my life.
So with this tattoo, you know what I thought at first?
What?
He was trying to say thanks matter.
Like all matter creates life.
Like I thought he was trying to be like philosophical.
What's thanks?
First of all, what's thanks?
Yeah, it could be thanks or thanks.
Like we don't quite know, right?
So I think what they're trying to say is thanks mother for my life.
But even that's a really weird to say it.
Even that's a really weird way to say it.
Thanks mom for my life.
So with this, we're obviously continuing the trend of motherly love and affection.
But this one is an infamous internet meme.
It's all over Tumblr and Instagram and Facebook and not exactly for a good reason.
All right.
So here's one that is very perplexing.
Value.
This is the kind of thing that would be absolutely hilarious at like three in the morning.
There's literally nothing else written on her arm.
No explanation.
No real meaning.
Just value.
Yo, she's confident because she knows she's got value.
This is the classic case where people get something random tattooed on themselves
in another language they don't fully understand.
This is like the reverse Asian tattoo, right?
Because in Asia, in America, they'd be like,
give me something that says like I'm like truthful or I'm valuable.
And then like a Chinese.
But this is like maybe the other way around.
So they have just like a random word.
What's the word for value in Chinese?
Price.
All right.
This tattoo has an obvious error, right, Mike?
They're trying to say life is what you make it.
But that's still weird.
It should be like life is what you make of it.
Yeah.
This whole thing just kind of confuses me.
Now I'm all confused about life and what it makes.
And what it makes of it or what it really...
What?
Maybe I should just go re-evaluate myself after seeing this.
Yeah, I saw this girl one time and she had love will tear us apart
on her chest, on her neckline.
That's really scary.
That's kind of a fail to me.
Like it's not a meaning fail, but I'm like...
Maybe love tore her apart.
Why would you just put that on your body?
Maybe love tore her apart.
But at least I like what this is going for.
He's going for a positive message.
Just kind of messed it up.
All right.
I'm really a fan of this one because come on, this is not...
You know, it's a different language.
So carpe diem.
Everybody, they know what they're trying to say,
but they obviously spelled it wrong.
This is clearly, clearly a mistake.
Look, everybody knows the phrase carpe diem,
which is Latin and it means seize the day.
Okay, they use it in movies, pop culture all the time.
So this person obviously wanted that.
But come on, man.
Like just make sure you get it right.
You know, at this point, it's probably better that Latin is a dead language.
You know, just don't try to mess with that.
Next, are you too cool for school?
School.
Oh, man.
So this is our final tattoo and this genius mistake.
Again, one letter makes a heck of a big difference.
And this is a lesson for you all because
obviously this person is not too cool for school.
School is one of the words that you see like
most throughout your life.
Through that.
Because you've been going to school for 18, 20 something years,
30, sometimes 30 years of your life.
And all you see, school, school, school, school, school, school.
How can you misspell that?
It would be ironic if that person was like a teacher.
Too cool for school.
You need to really just chop off that part of your body.
You know what I would do?
I would turn that L into a B and it would be like too cool for school B, dude.
Like I would just add a B, Y, D, O, O.
That's actually not bad.
All right, guys, let us know if you have other tattoo fails.
Share with us.
Share with everybody.
Thank you so much for watching, everybody.
Later.
