Timbaland | House Tour | His $13.9 Million Florida Mansion & More

By the looks of it, Grammy award winning record producer and rapper Timbaland loves living in the sunny state of Florida. In 2019 he dropped nearly 8 million dollars on his current mansion in Coral Gables which is a modern tropical oasis packed with luxury features. And this isn't his only property in the area. Back in 2004 Timbaland bought a 3.5 million dollar abode nearby and in 2018 he dropped a small fortune on two units in a waterfront Miami high rise. In these videos we don't reveal any addresses and even though I've done a house tour of my own place, please do not show up at any private residences because it's not safe for anyone. Timbaland is a musician, record producer, songwriter and more who's received acclaim for his innovative production work. In fact, back in 2007 Entertainment Weekly said this about him. Just about every current pop trend can be traced back to him from sultry, urban edged R&B songstresses to the art of incorporating avant-garde sounds into number one hits. And it seems that Timbaland's talents have paid off as his net worth is currently estimated at about 85 million dollars. In 2019, it was reported that Timbaland closed the deal on his current home, a stunning mansion located in Coral Gables, Florida. Coral Gables is a city close to Miami and home to the 1920s Venetian pool carved from a rock quarry, the Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden, which is full of tree-lined lakes, a tropical rainforest, and much more. Timbaland's house is more specifically in the gated community of Hammock Lakes, on nearly an acre of land surrounded by mature oak trees and other native landscaping. The star forked out a whopping 7.95 million dollars for the modern oasis, which boasts the utmost privacy and over 8,400 square feet of space inside. His gorgeous home also has walls of floor-to-ceiling glass throughout, which really takes advantage of the Florida views, along with 7 beds and 8.5 baths. In fact, the walls of glass windows and doors are not only good for making his house bright, but they also make way for a seamless transition between the indoor and outdoor spaces. The gorgeous entryway is flooded with light, and to one side there's a large glass staircase connecting the levels. The open plan kitchen and connected living space keeps the modern vibes, as most of the high-end appliances are concealed in white cabinets. There's a large central island made of black marble, boasting bar-style seats. A cozy family room nearby offers an artsy light fixture, glass sliders to the terrace, and plush furnishings, while elsewhere there's a private lounge with full wet bar, wine storage, and wraparound terrace. Up the sleek and winding set of stairs, there are a handful of other rooms for Timbaland to enjoy. Aside from the guest rooms or family bedrooms, there's what looks almost like a waiting room, but it's more likely a lounge next to the master suites. His master bedroom is spacious and comes with a large walk-in closet and glass sliders out to a private balcony. The attached bath is so white it's almost blinding, with a massive glass walk-in shower and a separate tub set at a window. Timbaland also has a recording studio in his mansion, making it easy to work from home, and elsewhere there's an elevator. We can see that since moving in, he's also made some serious changes to the residence, one of these being his fully equipped home gym. This space is so massive and has every machine you could imagine, so we can see that Timbaland cares about his fitness. Outside the property is surrounded by trees and other greenery, while off of one of the interior living rooms, the glass sliders takes you right out onto one covered patio that boasts a barbecue station, a bar, TV and sitting area. His oasis is complete with a separate guesthouse, swimming pool and spa, while out front, there's a modern pond under a walkway leading to the front door. While that modern retreat would be enough for anyone, Timbaland still owns some other properties nearby. In 2018, the musician and producer closed on a double unit at Aria on the Bay in the Arts and Entertainment District of Miami, Florida. At the time of purchase, the luxury building was finishing completion and it's said that the two waterfront condos cost Timbaland over $4 million. This sleek 53-story building boasts 648 units and were 90% sold even before construction was finished. Aria on the Bay has plenty of health-centered amenities accessible for residents, which I'm sure was a selling point for the star. Timbaland's two Sky units were to be combined to form a large 4,700 square foot residence with an additional 1,300 square feet of outdoor space. He has six bedrooms, eight bathrooms and two private elevators, while the sprawling terrace has ideal views of the bay and the ocean. The modern condo is open plan by the looks of it with high ceilings and full walls of glass to take in the surroundings. Not to mention, the ideal location of the Aria building in the heart of Miami provides access to plenty of hotspots and restaurants, even some eat-in options on the ground level of the complex itself. In 2019, it was also reported that Timbaland unloaded his other longtime Florida mansion at a loss of a million dollars or more following some drama. However, property records show the rapper still owns his Pinecrest home. Pinecrest is a suburban neighborhood in Miami-Dade County, Florida, and Timbaland's abode sat on 1.5 acres of land with a fully equipped property. The grounds were ideal for entertaining, boasting a large tropical pool, basketball court and tennis court that's shared with neighbors, among other amenities. The mansion offered over 10,600 square feet of space with seven beds, all of which had balconies, and five baths throughout, as well as a two-story open living area flooded with natural light. There was also a large eat-in kitchen, formal dining room, games room, home theater, and wet bar. As you would expect from a home this sprawling, there was also a spacious master suite with fireplace and bonuses like a room-to-room aquarium and large staff quarters. According to records, Timbaland sued to evict a failed buyer out of this mansion which caused him a lot of stress. He originally purchased the home for over $3.4 million in 2004 and was set up to sell at a major loss, but it's said that that sale didn't go through. Timbaland first put it on the market following his divorce from ex-wife Monique in 2017, first asking over $4 million with trouble finding a buyer. The rapper eventually rented the home out to a tenant but things went south real quick. The man allegedly refused to leave the home, leading Timbaland to sue and get police involved. Not to mention, this nightmare tenant is responsible for over $100K in damages caused to the property.
