Garden Damage After Bad Storms 🌪 🌩 Set Backs Happen || Saturday Vlog

This week's vlog is mostly just a bunch of walking and talking, showing some storm damage in the garden. We needed the rain and wow did we finally get it! After weeks of dry weather a storm rolled in out of nowhere with winds around 80 mph which hydrated the plants and took out a good amount of pottery and smaller trees. I could have called this a storm damage garden tour, since I really didn't get anything done other than cleaning up the garden and fixing broken pottery. Almost everything is back to where it was prior to the micro burst storm, and other than some torn leaves on the bird of paradise and messed up branches here and there, things are getting back to normal. I had hoped to go out and have a fun shopping for plants video where I do a plant haul with a few odd and end plants I want for projects, but that can wait. I did pick up some Vinca and talked about how next week I'll be planting lots of lantana. Looking forward to that! The next video will be the June garden tour, in that video you'll be able to see a better look at what's been going on in the garden.
