Hey guys, welcome back to my channel. Today I'm going to show you how to do some iron-on transfers
using the Cricut machine and I also want to thank Cricut for sponsoring today's video.
As you can see here and by the title, I'm going to be using an Among Us character.
I actually found this SVG file just off of Pinterest. You can easily purchase one,
download it, and then upload it to your Cricut and print it out. So I'm going to walk you through
the steps of how you're going to do this when you're using multiple colors and multiple layers.
So starting with the black color, this is going to be the outline of my character. So I'm going
to bump this into the machine and then I'm going to show you with my screen recording how we're
going to print everything on different pages. So the first thing you want to do is click mirror
because this is going to be printing backwards and then I'm going to select everyday iron-on
since that is the material we're using and then I'm going to go over to my machine and hit the
little Cricut and that will just run this right through and it will cut your vinyl.
Now I'm going to continue this with the white. That's the next one I'm going to be using.
So again, you bump it into it a little bit. I'm going to select the white one right here
and again you want to click the mirror and then hit the Cricut and it'll just run through again.
So you're going to see me repeat this four times with each color.
I did want to show you here I'm using some leftover pink so I actually need to move these
little hearts over to the side because you can see here I'm missing some pink so I want to make
sure that I'm cutting it where I actually have some of the vinyl. So that's another thing if
you're using just little pieces you can drag your image and have it cut in a different location than
where it will automatically try to cut.
Okay, this next step you're going to just remove all of the vinyl sticker.
You're going to cut them out and then you're going to peel all of the excess material off.
So again, repeat this for every piece that you are going to be ironing on.
Now we are going to be placing this onto our shirts and I got these sweaters just off of
Amazon for a couple dollars. I will have everything linked that I used down in the
description box but the first thing you want to do is heat up your shirt. So I have my temperature
set to 315 degrees. I let it sit on the shirt for 10 seconds and now I am going to apply the very
first stick on. So we're using the black outline and I'm going to let this heat press sit on here
for 30 seconds. All I did here was I clicked on the little button there with the Cricut button
and it'll have a 30 second timer. So once you do that you're going to flip the shirt
over and then you want to heat the back side up for another 15 seconds.
One thing you do not want to do is to peel this off before it's cooled down. If it's hot to the
touch you do not want to mess with that so wait a couple minutes until it's warm and then you can
peel off the sticker.
Now I'm going in with the second layer. So this is the red part of the character. I'm also going
to put the hearts on but you can see here there's some sticker showing and you don't want the iron
directly on that so I'm going to put this little piece of cloth here just to avoid the sticker from
melting to the iron.
So this is the final piece that I need and again I will be covering up any of the sticker that's
showing here with some kind of protection so whether it is some cloth or the original clear
sticker either of those will work.
Okay so this is how they turned out. I made these for my twin boys. They are obsessed with Among Us
and they don't own anything with the characters on them so I knew they would be really excited
to wear these this week with Valentine's coming up but I will share their reaction when I show
them to them the first time. Okay guys come up. Thank you. What is it? Thank you. How did you even make this?
