WERE BACK!

Did you guys see what daddy built? What did he build? I don't know. Good morning guys. We are here vlogging again. I feel like it's been forever. It's been a long time. Hey. I'm working and I'm sick. Okay we have, well let's see I started out with the flu like two days ago. And then I felt amazing yesterday. I seriously like, I woke up at one in the morning and threw up every hour. For like 13 hours straight. It was insane. And then, no. And then the next morning Simon, Cohen, and Thomas had it. And so yesterday everybody had it and then I didn't. So at least we all kind of like had them at different times so that we could, I could take care of them and they could take care of me. Woah. But today yesterday when I had all that free time I went crazy downstairs and I touched up all the paint. I, well actually we still had a lot of stuff we had to do. So I spent about 10 hours down here working and now today it's Thomas' turn because he's feeling better. So, we also have a ton of construction going on upstairs so I'll walk you guys through what's going on up there. We have windows getting put in. We have, I think the ceiling is coming off today in the kitchen. Right? Yep. So we're going to completely finish the basement today which you probably already thought it was finished, but no. We always do like 90%. And we're like, it looks good. So we're hanging our curtains today and touching up all the little extra little places we need to do. I have a list about a mile wide so we'll let you guys be in on it today what we're doing. Sorry it's taken 5 years to get another vlog up, but hopefully we'll be a little bit better at being consistent with this. Hopefully. Alright. So we're taking off this old school curtain rod. It's one of those that you pull like at a church, you know. I call them church curtains. And is that our cable wire? Oh my, it's such a joke. This cable wire literally runs around the entire room. Wow. The entire room. It starts over there and it just goes forever. My cable guy was pretty dumb. No, he didn't do it. He didn't? No, that was there before. My cable guy was not dumb, except for he broke my TV. Yeah, he did do that. I'm still waiting for him to buy us a new TV, by the way. Yeah, Comcast, thanks a lot. What kind of installer comes and breaks your TV and then we were right here when it happened. He elbowed it off our console and it fell straight to its face and shattered. He says, sorry. He's like, oh, I'm sorry. Then he put us on this guilt trip so we were making it sound like it was going to come out of his paycheck so we were like, oh, I don't want to. Then we got a $500 installation fee from Comcast. Right? $500. So we called them and we're like, okay, well if you're going to charge us $500 someone needs to come and replace our TV. Guys, look at our wolf. Raiden! Raiden! Hi honey, look how big he is. We have him tied because we have a bunch of paint over there and I don't want him tipping it over. It's kind of blurry right now. Okay, it's only taken me six months to get that off, but I did it. Are you afraid of it? Oh, oh. Look how big he is. He's a big guy now, huh? Excuse me, love. He's only five months old. Watch your dome. Watch your booty. I know, it's disgusting. So I know you were so sick yesterday so he came down and helped me tape off other places that I painted and guess where you put the tape? On the wrong side. No, when you were done taping off you put the tape roller in the freezer. Yeah, I opened the freezer and the tape's in there. Oh my gosh, I was laughing so hard, but I'm like, yeah, you did, it was hard as a rock, so I let it thaw out last night and took it out of the freezer. Threw me some tape. What are you doing? Man, you guys, this is our makeshift kitchen, I guess, until like this is our stove and our oven and our microwave. Ashley just kneels down right here and cooks what she needs. But it'll work. I mean, I'm grateful the reason we did down here first is so we had somewhere to go when everything was being destroyed upstairs, but I do miss having a sink and a dishwasher I think the most. Well, and a stove and something to cook stuff on, but like washing dishes, that's why we've just been living off paper and plastic cups forever, but we moved our fridge down here, so show them how nice that looks down here. Bam! It's upstairs, bud. This is where we've been living. What do you want? Alright, this is our basement bathroom. So I went and got some cute little towels and some stuff to hang up back here, because it's just super plain. It's tiny. Look at this. It's like, I don't even know, four square feet probably. Oh! And then, I got us a new little faucet. Okay, where do you want these? So that'll look nice. Um, okay. Like this? Or straight? Symmetrical? Yeah. Um, hold it up, and then I'll just hold one up like as a, this thing is actually going to sit on the toilet with plants. Okay, so you just need enough space. So enough space that it won't, and probably, I don't want anybody hitting their head, because this toilet's really low. Here we go! Thomas went to get wood today, because we're building a, I say we, again. I know I'm not anything to do with this, but he's going to build us a table to go behind the couch, just so we have more places to sit back here. I think it'll be nice. So, give me your opinions, okay? Okay. If I do the legs straight butted up against this, they're not going to be as strong. Because I can't run two by fours on the outside. But if I put, I start those, it'll be up against this one, but here it'll be like right there. I was thinking like four inches in. Yeah, that's fine. Okay, good talk. How many, do you think it'll fit like four stools? Yeah, I think four. Yeah, for sure. Okay, that's going to be cool. I'm excited to see what this looks like when it's all done. Okay, I want to show you guys what's going on up here. So we have everything's ripped out. Yeah! They're framing the window in today, because we're going to actually have a hood, like a range hood right there, because the stove will be right there, and the sink will be in the island. So that's what's going on up here. We're ripping the entire ceiling out today. And then, we've also installed new windows. We didn't have any windows on the front of the house. It makes it look a thousand times better. Actually, we'll peek through here. So now you can see there's windows on, okay, now you can see the windows on the pop-outs. And we're going to do shutters on both sides and little window boxes underneath, so it's going to just be so cute! What a difference, huh? I'm just going to show you guys real quick, like, front view. So, yeah. Look at that. No windows before. What a weird design, huh? It looks so much better! Okay, so I just got home from running just like a few errands, and look what I came home to. Ta-da! Can you believe this, guys? He's already done. Done! Completely done with this table. Oh my gosh. Well, all we have to do is stain the top. But, like, what in the world, dude? He did this in, like, 20 minutes. So if you ever need a table built, I'm just kidding. It's, like, really sturdy, too. That is. That's one of your greatest little jobs you've ever done there. Look at this. Do you know how nice it'll be? We're going to have some stools underneath here, and it'll be scooted up against the couch, but just so much space for activities. Good job! Um, so today after they did all of their preschool with me, we are going to do a cute little fossil game. Look how cute this thing is. So they're really excited. They're going to dig out their miniature dinosaur fossil. So there's a little dinosaur inside of this egg. Let's see what you got. That's not what you do, bud. Where's your chisel? Right here. So what we want to do let's show our friends what this looks like. Okay? So there's going to be a dinosaur inside. And I'm sure this will make a mess. Look a T-Rex! So... Look a T-Rex! Is that a T-Rex on there? Our lighting down here is so bad we have a few lights that are burnt out. So, sorry. It's kind of hard to see. Okay. I'll show you what we're going to do. Okay, hold the chisel like that and then you hammer the top. Honey, you might want to move your hand down so you don't hammer your hand. That might be hard, huh? Yeah, Cohen's doing it. Good job Cohen! You can just try hammering it if that's easier, honey. I think you want to chisel it a little bit. This helps them with... I actually got this at a cute little school store. Yeah, that's a good job. Oh, Cohen! Cohen's breaking it! He's getting it out! Hey, I want to cut this like a knife. Oh, you're going to cut it like a knife? Okay guys, here's the table. Um, it looks really dark right now. The lights are out, but it's a little bit lighter. We are going to take it like two inches off the bottom because we want it more, like, level with the couch, if that makes sense. And then we're going to have four barstools back here. So, we're going to... I'm just so excited about... So excited about that. We're going to have a lot more seating in here. We actually... This little fridge right here will be going... Wow, it's very dark, but it's one of them little fridges. But that will be going upstairs in our island. It's a cool idea. We actually... Our island is... It kind of like turns like this. And the turn part will be in our... It's called the candy bar, so it's kind of like separate from the kitchen, but it's sort of attached. And we're going to have a booth, a seating booth area right there. And it's going to basically be where we play card games and where we hang out. And then this whole wall of like desserts and stuff is where that's going to be. And so we're going to have that cute little mini fridge over in that section. So, I'm just so excited for all this to get done. Hey, Simee. What are you doing? Yeah? Simon will not get out of this chair. He's taking it everywhere with him today, huh? He walks around and carries it. Huh? And anyone that even tries to sit in it... You get mad. What? Are we in your playroom? Yeah, we're in our playroom, huh? Oh my gosh, guys. It's officially almost December. Okay. Yeah, do you want to show them all our little preschool area? Yeah. See, we turned it on to snow because it started snowing, huh? Yeah. We need to change the month to December now, huh? Good job. Cohen, what are you doing, huh? What are you doing? Are you playing... Oh yeah, it's dark. It's night time. He's playing Transformers, huh? Oh, good job, bud. Give me five. Good job. You want to play my game, please? Yeah. Okay. Okay, so I just actually planned a very impromptu trip to Vegas, and I'm going tomorrow. Huh? I'm gonna go tomorrow. I just planned it with my friend like two hours ago, so I'm gonna wake up... Oh my goodness. I'm gonna wake up early, get my stuff packed, and drive to Vegas. But it's for... It's technically for business. Technically. It's not like specific to my business, but it's... I don't know. I'm really excited. So, I think I'm going to take the camera with me and vlog while I'm there so that I keep being consistent with this because I don't want to get out of the routine. Yeah. I'm just gonna probably do like five minute vlogs while I'm there, but at least so we're uploading something, and then we'll see if Thomas can upload some stuff too while I'm gone. Huh? At least cuties, but I will be back Sunday night, I believe. So it's just a quick one, but I'm excited to randomly up and go to Vegas tomorrow, so we are gonna get the kids in the bath, and then I'm gonna go to bed.
