Plant Unboxing From Hirt's & Making a Begonia Bonsai
Plant Haul! I ordered some more plants from Hirts Gardens. I really just wanted one more of the tiny pink begonias and figured I would get a few more fun plants while at it. The pineapple plant will go in a planter on the patio, the tillandsia is going to a friend as a gift, the alocasia silver dragon I also have special plans for. I also planted up a begonia bonsai terrarium in the video. Begonia have been doing well for me in terrariums, I planted one up last winter and it has done well, so I'm glad to have finally planted up this bonsai pot with something that I think is proportionate and easy to care for. During the unboxing I tried to lightly cover the care and how to grow for the plants. I already have a video on how to grow pineapple plants, and I'm pretty sure I've covered growing alocasia in my how to grow alocasia amazonica video. There would not have been much point in discussing bonsai care since this bonsai is in a glass terrarium and will not be grown like a standard bonsai.
