DEVIL RAMEN! SPICIEST Ramen in Japan & $150 MELON!!

I'm about to film the 7-Eleven video for the food channel and check this out So those are kids in school uniforms because there's a school near my hotel. It's Sunday They're going to school on a... I didn't even have to go to school on Sunday when I was in China. Wow, they are dedicated students So a baseball game is going on. You can see the whole game from my hotel room and right down there See the guy in the black with cheerleaders on each side He's directing the whole thing and there's band members and audience members and they go on like this Non-stop throughout like I feel like throughout the entire game and this is like even pretty mellow like all these people in the black They're all leading the audiences to clap. These audiences who are really chilled and then the other team's cheerleaders on the other side And they're doing kind of the same thing I don't know if you guys can see them moving, but this goes on the guy in the black. He's like very Animated he's doing all these like motions and stuff. I don't know kind of almost like a show So I don't know if you guys can hear that that's from within my hotel room 15 stories up That's pretty loud. It's pretty interesting though. I kind of enjoy sitting here on a weekend. Just just watching a college game I almost enjoy watching them more. Part 2 of my day. I'm at Shibuya station So this morning I did the 7-eleven video and tonight I'm going to do a soba challenge video But I got a couple guests with me. So I'm on my way to meet Simon and Martina. This is Shibuya station. Like I said, we're gonna meet at the Hachiko statue. That's really cool I mean, I kind of want to see the Hachiko statue There's the Hachiko statue. If you don't know what that is watch the movie Hachiko. I only saw the one with Richard Gere but It's Richard Gere for sure. Everyone's trying to take a picture with a Hachiko statue and that dude, I don't know He just looks dazed. He's just standing behind the statue just chilling. He's going through his phone It's gotta be kind of crazy. I mean seriously like is he just wanna like photobomb everybody? I'm not really sure Maybe that's how he thinks he's gonna get Instagram famous. I'm not sure What's up guys? A little bit for you. You're like way taller than me. Let's go to Sumo street And it's my mistake This is more of Sumo town than it is Sumo street And this is where all the Sumo stadiums, the training centers And what I'm here for All the sumo food restaurants are located And I'm here for really just one particular dish The chanko nabe That was a great meal That sumo food would be this massively delicious In real life It's like wow I didn't know how to ask for a photograph I should learn how to say that in Japanese Watashi wa Selfie Alright I'm leaving Tokyo tomorrow And one place I always wanted to try was Well you guys suggested it You said I gotta go try this ramen place That serves a ridiculously spicy bowl of ramen Devil level Oh here it is And I know my buddy Mark tried it He seemed to like it And a couple of my friends are going to join me Oh there they are Hey Oh my god It's like when YouTubers meet each other And they're just like what's going on You guys are awesome Well I got all of us something So today after we eat everything We're going to go try a $150 melon What? Really? $150 melon I'm down for that This is why we choose you Mark We're going to eat the heck out of this melon Somewhere after this So what spice level are you guys going for? I gotta do it I'm going to go for premium ramen And get a seasoned egg Oni red chili pepper Oni killer Sichuan pepper Let's do this So excited about this Wow this is like Lava right now Look at this So you guys got what? Medium? I got the medium And John who does not eat any spice Has no spice It's just clear There's no spice at all Oh This thing is Singing my song right now I love this It tastes great I can walk outside with I don't need my jacket anymore Yeah try some You might die Just a warning Take a spoonful You guys feeling good about that? You're on another level I cannot So they actually add a lot of stuff Into this ramen There's some sprouts, some scallions On top there's another layer of chili And numbing pepper And when you dig down This is where the noodles begin The noodles begin 3 feet below the surface Of this lava Of this porky spicy lava It tastes like a Sichuan noodle That is so numbing And spicy This is actually the tasty kind of spicy Nothing like when I had the curry challenge Where the curry was trying to kill me These noodles Hurt you in a loving way They're spicy In a loving way When your tongue is numb And feels like some things are stabbing it That's just the noodle showing its love That's delicious I'm going to try this ultra numbing spicy pork Look how easily this thing Falls apart when I'm squeezing it with my chopsticks This pork is awesome It's so numbing They put so much peppercorn in here The pork right now to me is like my salvation At least inside the pork itself There's no numbing spices The key to eating Sichuan food is Never eat the peppercorn Here it's basically just grounded up peppercorn So my tongue feels like I just licked a live electric wire I can't feel anything I don't know how you can still eat it I'll eat the heck out of this As a normal person This is unbelievable It's really the numbing The spice is not a big deal It's just the numbing Let's dig into this egg I need a little creamy salvation The egg looks fantastic I can barely talk right now My lips and tongue Has been stung by bees Demonic bees Still not nearly as bad as that curry Down to my last few bites I'm not going to drink this I'm glad I tried it though We're going to go do some other stuff now I need some ice cream So cream Hokkaido milk ice cream Supposed to be the best in Japan Johnny got some chocolate lava cake I think it is Hokkaido ice cream Just a little watery for some reason I can smell it Your nose is fantastic Look at that That is a $150 melon This is the day after I got the melon I couldn't get it the day of because It's a big melon I wanted to show my friends here John This is the $150 melon Let me describe it to you It fits perfectly in your hands The stems are beautiful It's like a graduation cap It's graduating and ready to eat I bought a knife just for this melon Because you can't just use a butter knife To cut a $150 melon $150 melon Mike's about to cut it It went in so easy This knife is super sharp You see the juice dripping off the melon You cannot wish this This drop is like a dollar That's good You guys have no idea That's the greatest melon juice ever I like a dollar a drip We're ready for the melon It's so green It doesn't look like a honey juice It's a bit see-through It looks like a lime There's a puddle of juice right there If you guys don't mind I paid $150 for this I'm not muddy It's so beautiful I'm going to cut again Here it is It's just the most juicy melon I've ever seen in my life Oh my god It blew our minds It was oh my goodness Thanks Mike for sharing It's just like sucking Melon juice It's almost like you don't need to chew this You just suck it You see all that juice that's falling down Literally The physical aspect of the melon Is gone And all there is is just melon juice Fragrant sweet Delicious melon juice I know this is a $150 melon This will be the only time in my life I'm ever eating this But oh my god I want more of this I will be thinking about this melon for the rest of my life If you ever get a chance to be in Japan Maybe a bunch of you guys Put your money together You need to try this melon You do It's $150 and I know it's a lot of money So let's say 10 of you Get together $10 each, $12 each, my math is bad Get this melon, each take a couple bites Have your lives changed Forever I mean that's worth $10 right That's worth Like I would equate this to the Kobe steak of melons Kobe steak was one of the greatest things I've ever had in my life And it's completely changed my life This melon Same way Best fruit I've ever had in my life It's just, life changed You need this There's only certain things in life That really when you eat it It's beyond anything you could ever imagine And this is one of them It's like Doctor Strange It's just something happens And it's magic And the melon is just completely Metamorphosis It's just pure, juicy Heavenly elixir This is the elixir of the gods If I was a god, I want an elixir It'd be this melon juice And by the way, the king of all fruits, Dorian No no no, Scoot over Meet the new king This should be the new king, emperor Holy patron saint of all fruits Alright, it's a great hangout with these guys today Yeah, thanks so much Mike Thanks so much for having us The melon was amazing Every time we see you, you always just He gives us good food Always introduces us to the best hot food He gives us good food every time Thanks so much man See you next time Bye
