While this is true, many beliefs and ideas that shape Europe, including Christianity, have their origins in the Middle East. Judaism spreads across the Roman empire long before Jesus' birth; Muslim Moors dominate the Iberian Peninsula.
In this episode, we explore the various religions that spread across Europe and how they have changed the continent.
