Our old camper remodel continued into a second demo day as we needed to remove carpet from the camper. Motorhome carpet removal can suck the life out of you depending on how many staples are used and whether furniture and appliances are built on top of the carpet or not.
But if you are prepping for RV flooring, such as the vinyl plank flooring we planned to install, removing the carpet from the camper is essential to doing the job right.
In this episode, we show you our RV carpet removal. But we also take you into some of the other steps we took in preparing for painting inside the RV.
From taping windows, appliances and ceiling edges with painter’s tape to applying liquid sandpaper to all walls and cabinets, by the end of this episode we’re ready to begin the process of painting in our 1999 Shasta Cheyenne Class C motorhome remodel.
