Hi guys! You are watching Oxy Vlogs. If this is your first time here and you would like to know
more information about life in Dubai, don't forget to hit the subscribe button and the bell icon so
you won't miss anything. It's Ramadan in Dubai and many people are going on vacation. The life
in the city is quite slow and if you don't know anything about Ramadan, here is a video on my
channel so check it out. If you're planning to visit Dubai during Ramadan and you're wondering
what you're going to do here that nothing happens in the city during Ramadan or maybe you live in
the city and you're looking for some fun things to do, keep watching this video because today I'm
going to share with you five activities you should experience in Dubai during this month.
The first experience you should definitely try is Iftar. Iftar is a meal that Muslims have when
they break their fast after sunset. No matter what your beliefs are, don't miss out on Iftar.
Gather with your friends, book an Iftar dinner at one of the hotels in Dubai and it's a great
opportunity to try Arabic food, learn some new cultures and unite with your Muslim friends and
colleagues. If you want to have a truly unique experience, try Iftar at Sheikh Mohammed Center
of Cultural Understanding. If you haven't visited all of the Emirates yet, it's a great time to do
it because the hotels across the UAE offer great discounts during Ramadan and the Ramadan started
a little bit earlier this year so the heat is not that bad. Take your family and friends and go to
the Snoopy Island in Fujairah. Try snorkeling with the colorful fish and sea turtles. Have you heard
about the longest urban zipline in the world which is in Dubai Marina? They are launching the
night rides during Ramadan that will be a limited time experience and will be available over four
dates in Ramadan only. So hurry up, book your spot. The limited tickets will be available for every
Wednesday throughout the Ramadan. The price is 850 dirhams. The next thing you should try is fasting.
Why don't you fast at least one day so you can see what your Muslim friends and work colleagues
do and how it feels. Fasting has a lot of health benefits. It improves your blood fat levels, it
helps you to overcome your addictions. If you maintain your eating habits, you can even lose
some weight but if you start eating a lot after sunset at night, especially sweets, it won't help
you. When you fast, you learn how to control your cravings so it helps you to improve your
self-discipline as well. Considering the fact that it's already quite hot in Dubai, you can start
exploring some indoor activities. There are several relatively new destinations that offer
fun activities for kids and for adults. One of them is Jambal. It's an urban maze where you can
take on a series of physical and mental challenges. Last week we tried it with our friends and we had
a lot of fun. Edward, can you share your experience with us? What was your most memorable moment?
The most memorable moment was when Eugene was dancing the chicken dance.
That was my favorite moment but actually I love the sports activities so they were really good
I was feeling very good and what's interesting you can identify who has skills in which domain
like someone has sports skills someone has you know intellectual skills
No, I think I'm good in sports. Another great experience is VR park in the Dubai mall. I think
you all know what virtual reality means so there you can have 18 different experiences
from the dune bash in the desert with game of spiders to a bush drop so check it out. If you
feel a bit stressed out you can de-stress at Dubai's first smashed room. It's a unique therapy
session so it's a room filled with old TVs, furniture and laptops and you can smash everything
around. So guys as you see there are still so many things to do during Ramadan in Dubai so go
out explore the city don't forget to hit the like under this video and I will see you very soon bye
