The Most Nerve-Wracking Part of Our RV Remodel!! // Cutting a Hole in Our Butcherblock Countertop

After practicing installing our new kitchen sink, we mustered up the courage to cut a hole in our new butcherblock countertop so that we could install the sink and faucet and mount the new countertop to the cabinets.

Before doing this we finished fixing the plumbing so that it would all fit together when the sink was in place. And we also finished tiling the backsplash on the wall so that the counter would tie everything together nicely.

But what we didn't account for was the challenges that we would face in trying to cut a hole in the 1.5" butcherblock countertop. We're not professionals - which we say a lot! But once we figured out how to cut the hole in the counter it was just a matter of putting everything together and installing it in the camper kitchen!
