Back to Lowes! Shopped For Plants & Houseplant Haul! || Saturday Vlog
I needed to run some errands and figured I would bring everyone along. First stop I went to Lowes Home Improvement to get some supplies for the growspace and of course, more mulch. Gave a quick look at the plants at Lowes and then headed on to go to a local nursery, Greenscape to get some houseplants. It is always so fun shopping for houseplants and doing the follow me around type videos, this time it didn't really work out, too many people and too much background noise. I did manage to get a bunch of excellent new plants while I was out and showed them all in a houseplant haul. I grabbed a few plants for winter gardening, heuchera and helleborus, and everything else was all houseplants. I am loving the new ferns and hanging succulents and am so pleased with the big leaves on the Cebu Blue Pothos! I am also looking forward to potting up the wire vine, it will look better in a tall, slender planter. Was nice seeing plants back in stock at more reasonable prices which were recently characterized as rare plants just because of popularity and demand. I do not keep up with the trendy plants but I was shocked to see the online prices for some of the plants I got when checking my spelling for this description.. the silver glory string of heart vines are pricey! Can't wait to see what the plant supply will be like next spring since the harder to get trendy plants of 2020 are starting to become common again. Crazy to think a year ago these common plants were considered rare plants and this would have been a rare plant haul just because of a cebu blue pothos, philodendron brasil and a string of hearts vine. jeesh! lol.
