With the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law in effect, the Department of Energy has been laser focused on delivering a clean energy future and creating more good-paying jobs across the United States. For our latest updates:

• Established the $6 billion Civil Nuclear Credit Program to preserve America’s existing nuclear reactor infrastructure.
• Provide nearly $3 billion to boost the production of advanced batteries to power electric vehicles and make our electric grid more resilient and help bring down the costs of clean energy.
• Collecting feedback on how we should implement and design two new clean hydrogen initiatives around new hydrogen hubs and clean hydrogen manufacturing programs.
• Released America’s first-ever plan to secure America’s clean energy supply chain, which will boost our domestic security, spur domestic manufacturing and increase our energy independence.
