Here's how I start a slow life day. My routine is like this if my husband is at work. Well, and good life with Jesus first.
But before that, I have to pray and read the Bible first. I am still making this routine in practice before it will be my habit. Reading the Bible every morning is not quite yet consistent. I usually read the Bible in the middle of the day after my little one takes a nap. There is no right or wrong when is the best time to read the Bible. But I find my most productive day once I prioritize reading the Bible and praying first before I do my regular chores. Praying and reading the Bible are my most effective ways to slow down and enjoy a simple life as a homemaker. Prayer is an excellent way to start your day too.
It is also a glimpse of a day in the life of a stay-at-home mom and my quiet time routine. I hope you can Bible study with me.
In this video, I want to share my simple pancake recipe that I usually eat every morning. It is not a typical pancake since, as much as possible, I want to practice eating with clean ingredients.
Ingredients:
1 cup Birch Benders Paleo Pancake Mix
2 tbsp ground flaxseed
1/2 cup water or almond milk, or any milk of your choice.
2-3 tsp Coconut oil or any oil of your choice
1 tsp salted butter
A handful of raspberries
A handful of blueberries
Monkfruit Keto maple syrup or any of your choice
1 tsp Monkfruit keto sugar powder or any of your choice
Instruction:
Combine pancake flour with ground flaxseed and milk.
In a pan, pour 1 tsp of coconut oil.
You can create 2-3 pancakes with 1 cup of Pancake mix. In a pan, pour a 1/4 cup of pancake mix. With your spatula, tap it a few times to make it flat.
Plating:
On a plate, place the pancakes and put the butter.
Pour the Monkfruit keto maple syrup.
Once the butter melts, you can put the raspberries on top of the pancake. Sprinkle the sugar powder over the raspberries.
Surround your pancakes with blueberries.
