One of the worst spots for ocean plastics on the Dampier Penisula.
There's still a lot that needs to be cleaned up. GPS coordinates here:

I can see one buoy on the right there, can you see it?
We're up here on the Dampier Peninsula just north of Quondong.
Buoys along this beach as far as the eye can see probably a k or so along this beach and
these buoys if they're left out here they're going to break down and they're going to end
up back in our oceans and that's a real threat to our marine life out there.
It's all going to break down and it's very hard to pick up once it breaks down.
Getting out here and actually cleaning up this stuff gives you a true connection to
that environment, it makes you really appreciate that environment even more and to leave it
better than you found it.
You just walk away, that much richer in spirit because of it.
It's a shame that you have this beautiful part of the world and everybody told you that
it's a beautiful part of the world but when you really get to see behind the scenes it's
not always the case so we all need to do our little bit.
Keep it cleaner.
If you don't clean it up we lose.
Get out here, have an adventure, explore like we just did in the sea park and pick up a few
bits of rubbish and yeah it's good fun.
