Versailles: Ambitious King Louis XIV | The Sun King

People can't stop wondering how the magnificent palace Versailles, which is bathed in light, was built over 300 years ago and what story lies behind it. The palace's powerful owner was King Louis XIV, also known as The Sun King. He was too preoccupied with his mother's words about a king's divine destiny and God-given rights. As a result, during King Louis XIV's reign, a kingdom within a kingdom was established, and everyone was required to follow his rules.
