We are an ADVENTUROUS family of 6 who lost our son to SIDS in 2014. Our biggest regret was not having family videos of him when he was here and is why we started doing daily vlogs!
Thomas is a 2X North American Champion in his kick-boxing career and Ashley is a network-marketing professional.
Together we have 6 year old Identical twins- Simon & Cohen. Our son Miloh was born 12/12/13 and passed away 5/20/14. We were blessed with our Rainbow baby (and 4th son) Ezrah this year on 03/02/17 and we have loved sharing our every day journey with our followers and are looking forward to where this journey takes us!
Okay, this is my first time filming with this new hairdo, oh my goodness

We'll just you know throw a couple of extensions in if I don't like it. I can take it out
Hey guys welcome back to our channel
This is a little bit of a different video today, but I told you guys I would be doing a couple of different fall Halloween
Videos, so I'm excited to share with you guys my go-to
Halloween snacks slash food just some things you can whip up pretty quickly and have a really fun festive
Halloween dinner the dessert that I'm gonna share with you is not technically like a fall thing
But I just happen to make it every like Halloween time my family always knows to expect it that I will be bringing
Homemade butterfingers, and if you don't like butterfingers, that's okay
I've never had someone try these and not love them even if they hate butterfingers
They kind of don't taste like butterfingers, but they're so
Flippin good
I'm so excited for you guys to try those as well as the other two recipes that are so easy like you're gonna just be
Blown away how easy and festive all of these things are
All right starting with our homemade butterfingers. This is all the ingredients you need need candy melts candy corn and peanut butter make sure
That the candy melts are light cocoa you do not want to get any other flavor the first thing
We're going to do is melt the candy corn make sure you put it in a bowl
That's microwavable, and I did it for about 30 seconds
And then I'd stir it around put it in for 30 seconds stir it around so keep taking it out and stirring it
As you can see that I'm doing here until you get a texture like the end result
You want it to be kind of like sticky and gooey
So this is what you want to work with once
It's like this you want to just dump all the peanut butter an entire jar of peanut butter
Into your bowl of melted candy corn and mix it around
The heat from the candy corn is going to melt this so it does end up becoming like a lot easier to stir
You want it to end up with this chunky texture?
Then you're going to dump it on a cookie sheet and spread out with a spoon you want to do this pretty quickly while it's
Still hot so you can easily spread it around
This is a very tiny cookie sheet if you double the recipe that would be an average size cookie sheet
This is just a very small one. You're going to get between 50 and 60 bars
Once you've smoothed it out all the way make sure that you cut your bars if you wait till these are hard
It's so hard to cut them
So you're gonna want to cut them into little squares and then put them in the refrigerator for about 20 to 30 minutes
Next we're going to melt the candy melts you guys do not burn these you can burn these very easily
So make sure you're never going more than then 20 to 30 seconds at a time stir very well
And you want it to be this texture okay the second you burn this it will go hard
And you can't melt it again
All you're going to do from here is dip these little bars into the chocolate
It takes about three to five minutes for the chocolate to harden up. I promise you guys these are the best tasting desserts
I cannot wait for you guys to try them out yourself, and I'd love to hear in the comments what you guys think
Moving on to pumpkin rolls you guys these are just the roads rolls. Okay, nothing fancy here
I just took them out of the freezer after they thawed for about two hours
I went around them with scissors and just snipped them to make them into the shape of a pumpkin
You don't want to put them together you want them to bake like this
So I just wanted to show you guys. I only put about nine on a pan and
Then for the final look you're going to use pecans
So you'll just stick a pecan down into the hole that you left when you baked them and there you have the cutest little
pumpkin rolls I
Also wanted to add that putting them in a basket
I thought was a really cute way to serve them. So this is how we serve them to my family on Sunday dinner
moving on to
What we call chicken boodle soup and you will see why you're going to need bowtie shaped noodles
You don't want to cook them till they're done. They still need to be a little bit hard
Once they're a little bit soft you want to put them into a ziploc bag
Something that you can secure well, and you're going to put some black food coloring in here
Shake it up really really well and kind of mush them around
You're going to let them sit in this bag for at least an hour or so
We also cut the carrots in the shape of a pumpkin
So we're gonna have little pumpkins and bats in our chicken noodle soup
Once you've taken the black noodles out of the bag, I just rinse them
They will not get all the way black a lot of them are fully black some of them
You can still kind of see the noodle color
You want to rinse them get the black food coloring out as much as you can and then we just dumped it into our chicken
Noodle soup. I
Think that this is just the perfect thing to serve on Halloween or another time or maybe you're with family and you want to do
something festive
Now to just end this I'm just gonna walk through my mom's house at Halloween time. I love her house
I love all her decorations and I think it's fun to just kind of get an idea of how other people decorate
So I'm just gonna end this right here for those that want to keep watching
I know you'll get plenty of cute ideas for your Halloween decor
Thank you guys so much for watching and we will see you guys in the next video
