Baby Emilia meets Wild Horses In The New Forest, England!

Firstly, my apologies for my poor camera/editing skills! I am still learning :)

This weekend, as a family we went down to the New Forest in Hampshire, England.
One of our favorite places to visit, but due to the countries Lockdown over the last year, we have not had the chance to take Emilia to go and visit the beautiful place!

The New Forest has over 5,000 Wild Horses living within the 566 km² area, so you would be EXTREMELY unlucky to not see one if you visit!

The place we were was right next to a small running stream where Emilia really enjoyed splashing about! Worked out perfectly as it was such a hot day!!
Whilst sitting on the grass, minding our own business, a group of wild horses came strolling past us!

Emilia really wanted to get down to go and "play" with the horse! She is definitely a big animal lover even at this age!

*disclaimer - it has come to my attention by local pony owners, that both approaching and feeding these animals is not such a good idea.
1. they can choke on certain types of food
2. if they become too used to humans feeding, there is the potential of the horses becoming aggressive towards people.

However, in my own personal experience, I have never seen an aggressive pony in the forest, so although you should be "aware" of local rules, you should not be "afraid" of the animals.
