COOL Zip-Top Bag Dryer
Plastic zip-top bags are one of the handiest modern conveniences in the kitchen. They are sturdy, and when closed properly, protect the contents well and prevent spills.
They are robust enough to be reused in many situations. If the bag has no holes in it and has not had meats or marinating meat in it, they are quite easy to wash and reuse several times before going to the landfill. We make several uses of the same bags that have held salad greens, dry goods, veggies, and cereal products.
All it takes is a quick hot soapy water wash, rinse, and dry on this whimsical drying rack.
This great DIY project is simple, inexpensive, and the results are really fun. You will have a practical kitchen device you’ll use for many years (ours is over 20 years old!). In fact, why not make some extras to either use as a decor item in the kitchen (it looks GREAT on the top of the upper cabinets) or as really cool gifts?
