authentic applestrudel recipe | BEST APPLE DESSERT !!!

Have you heard of applestrudel (also called Apfelstrudel)? Even if you haven't it is time for you to try out this recipe! The apples are soft in the middle and the pastry is crispy and it tastes honestly just amazing. If you don't like raisins you can of course just leave them out. I like to serve my applestrudel with hot custard and vanilla ice cream but you can top it with whatever you want.

Ingredients:
250 g flour
2 tbsp butter
100 ml lukewarm water
1 egg
1.5 kg apples
zest of 1 lemon
juice of 1 lemon
100 g raisins
70 g sugar
3 tbsp sliced almonds
1 tsp cinnamon
50 g melted butter
3 tbsp breadcrumbs
1 egg
powdered sugar
