Huawei CFO acquitted of fraud charges

Four years after the arrest of the chief financial officer of the Chinese multinational Huawei, Meng Wanzhou, a federal judge in New York dismissed the charges of financial fraud.

There is something off about this. It was these very charges that led to relations between the U.S. and China to become strained.
