The first step to increase productivity in construction is to understand the thumb rules of labour productivity.
Labour productivity in construction refers to how fast a project can be built, and how much it costs to build. These are critical factors that influence the cost and duration of any particular construction project. In this video I have explained some of the thumb rules for labour productivity i.e Labour production ratio's for various trades in building construction.

Hello Friends Welcome to Knowledge Hub Channel
Let's Learn Together This is our 4th video
of Thumb rule series In our 1st video we saw
Thumb rule of Standard High Rise Building
After that we saw the thumb rule for concrete steel and RCC
And in the last video we saw the thumb rule for shuttering
The most important one is Labour
Labour's output and productivity is also a thumb rule
Labour is very important in the construction industry
For example labour cost is almost 25% to 30%
It comes under the Total Project Estimate
So the better the efficiency of the labor The
better the progress of the project Now let's
see how to derive the efficiency of the labor
There are some norms and
some general guidelines
How much labor can work in a day We will learn
about this in detail today General guidelines
for labor in construction And labor productivity
How much labor can
work in a day We have
a detailed video on this AAC Block work
In AAC Block work If there is 8 inch AAC
block work Like 200
mm thickness AAC bloc
Then 1 mason 1 male laborer and 1 female
laborer can work on 10 square meters
If there is an 8-inch thick
AAC block then 1
mason 1 male laborer and 1 female laborer can work on 10 square meters
If the thickness of the AAC block is 4 inches and 6 inches
Then 1 mason 1 male laborer and 1 female
laborer can work for 8 square meters
If the thickness of AAC block
is 9 inches then 1
mason 1 male laborer and 1 female laborer can work for 1 25 cubic meter
So for 9 inches 1 mason 1 male laborer and 1 female laborer
If the thickness of the AAC block is 4.5 inches
Then 1 mason 1 male laborer and 1 female
laborer can work for 1 25 square meters
Now we will do plastering If there
is internal wall plastering then 1
mason 1 male laborer and 1 female
laborer can work for 10 square meters
If there is external and ceiling plastering then 1 mason 1
male laborer and 1 female laborer
can work for 8 square meters
Now shuttering and steel
Yutis is a gang in the city and the people who are part of it are all the same they are all tough guys and tough girls

Steel cutting bending and fixing

on the project Now it is called Water Puffing
Water Puffing Measureme
It has different types of water pumping systems
Otherwise there are still one mason and two harvesters
They pump water up to four square meters in a day
It's all about productiveness for one day
It means eight o'clock
Unregulated labor rates are the cause of the building's collapse
What percentage of labor comes from some of the buildings
We will talk to him about it
If it's concrete there's a table here right before your eyes
Serial number description operator's note

The leverage in the concrete activity is 20%
Woodwork including joinery and formwork which has a lever advantage of 28%
Steel work accounts for 18%
