CUN to LAX ~ ALASKA AIR (1st Class) & LAX LOUNGE ~ VLOG 215

Time flies when you're having fun. And you know how much we love ADL. I'm missing volleys, so I had to have a club sandwich. That would be first class. Somebody just got a yellow card. And we're flying around Storm, so the coffee stays. It's an adventure, we can't buy in the lounge. Baby, it's time to go. All ready. Time flies when you're having fun. And it was the same price. We got to the ADO station just in time to pay our ticket and get on the bus. We're going to the airport because then we'll catch the shuttle from there to our hotel for the night and then we fly out. And you know how much we love ADL. Wow, this is crowded. We're waiting for our shuttle to Marriott. Our timing worked out perfectly. Right off the bus and onto the shuttle. On our way to the room. It's quite large. Bathroom. There's five people that could fit in that shower. Water. It's really nice. Oh, that's memory foam. Oh, this is going to be nice. And we always get a double room because they give you more pillows. Now for some lunch. Today turned out to be a really easy, pleasant day. Everything happened really easy. But wow, the amount of people here in the last month is shocking. I'm missing Bali so I had to have a club sandwich. So you're an expert on... That's tasty. Who would go to Bali to get club sandwiches? It's good. It's actually quite tasty. I lose. Now we're off to the airport. The airport shuttle never showed up so we're taking the easy Cancun Zoo. Good, we have enough time to get a Starbucks. What cabin are you flying in today, ma'am? That would be first class. We've always been big fans of Alaska but seriously, the seat's broken and our tray tables were filthy. Technically, we brought wipes because it was all sticky. Your tray table was gross. It was all sticky, the metal. We're kind of failing on this one, Alaska. Hopefully the lounge will be nice in LA. Those are filthy. Somebody just got a yellow card because they refused to put their mask on. They're getting off because they won't wear it. Now we can get back on the way. Really, the flight crew's awesome. They handled that. An old plane but a good crew is better than a new plane and a crappy crew any day. Salud! Animals on this flight, good lord. Welcome to the United States. Bags are piling everywhere. I was looking for a bag to find a clue. Always an interesting experience. So, we went through immigration and we did not even get talked to or checked by customs. Nothing. We still have our customs form. And now we're outside. Interesting experience. Now we're going to go try and find the Alaska First Class Lounge. It's an adventure. We can't find the lounge. Does this go through the Alaska Lounge? Ah, there we go. Thank God. And I was kind of hidden. We found someone who knows their way. We're following her. So, Katie, what do you think of the First Class Lounge experience thus far? Sneaking in the back door. Hello. Their passport is pancakes. That's funny. Oh, my favorite thing in the world. Is the pancake machine running? Yeah. Alright, they have a Starbucks machine. I'm pretty much in heaven. I'm being kloofy and getting a cappuccino. It's like a cappuccino but in a bigger cup. Coffee on tap. Also, pretzels, sandwiches, brownies. Sit here and watch planes take off. And construction. And if you're lucky enough, you can get one of these little privacy booths. This is only four of them. With a great view. The Alaska Lounge is famous for its pancakes. So I gotta try one. Those are actually pretty good pancakes. Wow. I'm impressed. Actually, this is probably a problem. We have another few hours here. I might have a couple more of these. The flight has been delayed again. Now we don't get out of here until 10. We've lived in some apartments in this town since we've been in this lounge. Well, they kicked us out of the lounge. Now we're just waiting to see if our plane shows up. To be fair, they only kicked us out because it closed. Finally. Hello, thank you. Yes, thanks. Good evening. Seats. We finally made it. Let's hope we can get some meds. Jesus, that's hard. Hey, they can always cancel. Three days. First class travel is the way to go. We got really spoiled. We stayed full all day without spending a penny on food. You're ready for bed, huh? Oh, I'm so ready for bed. That makes, actually, since it's after midnight, three days of travel to get back here. And it was awesome. Let's get our bags and go home. Keep drinking this coffee.
