Grandduchess Anastasia Romanov - MURDER and MYSTERY
Grandduchess Anastasia Romanov - MURDER and MYSTERY: Anastasia Nikolaevna Romanov was born at Peterhof on June 5 1901 and was murdered at Yekaterinburg on July 17, 1918. She was a Grand Duchess of Russia, and was the fourth and youngest daughter of Tsar Nicholas II of Russia and Tsarina Alexandra Fyodorovna. Anastasia died at the age of 17 in Yekaterinburg at the hands of a Bolshevik execution squad. She was murdered together with her parents, her sisters (Olga, Tatyana and Maria), her brother (Aleksey) and some of the family's chambermaids. Her uncle Michael was killed just before them to gauge the reaction of Nicholas's cousin, King George V. The latter did not react, which led to the murder of the Romanovs.
