3 Amazing waterfalls you can explore in 1 day at Mountain Pine Ridge, San Ignacio in Belize

Belize is endowed with a lot of waterfalls and in this video I am going to show you three of these amazing waterfalls that you can explore within a day around San Ignacio in Belize. Welcome to my channel where I share my experience of the places that I am working which at the moment is Belize in Central America. In this video, I am going to show you three wonderful waterfalls you can visit or explore in a day within the Mountain Pirate Forest Resort around the town of San Ignacio in Belize. Located in the western part of Belize is the oldest protected forest area, the Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve. Within this forest reserve are some beautiful mountains and waterfalls. This is where I have selected three of these wonderful waterfalls that you can explore within a day when you visit Belize. The first waterfall you can visit is the Thousand Foot Fall. Approximately a three-hour drive from Belize City, the Thousand Foot Fall is the tallest waterfall in the whole of Central America. The best way to enjoy this beautiful 1600-foot waterfall is from a constructed viewpoint and oh my god, it was one of the best things I've ever seen in my life. As you can see, the Thousand Foot Fall is more for your viewing pleasure than for swimming. Approximately a 45-minute drive from the Thousand Foot Fall is a shorter and more accessible one called Rio On Pools. Comprising of large flat granite rocks with flowing fresh water coming from the valley creating these pools, Rio On Pools is more perfect for picnics and swimming spots. Driving approximately 25 minutes from Rio On Pool waterfall is another breathtaking hidden gem, the Big Rock Waterfall. Standing roughly 150 feet tall, the Big Rock Waterfall gashes off giant granite rocks. It takes a bit of walking down the hill to assess it but the hike is worth it in the end as the sight at the bottom is nothing less than amazing. So there you have it, three amazing waterfalls you can visit in a day within the Mountain Pie Ridge Forest Reserve around the town of San Ignacio in Belize.
