Hey everyone.
I am back doing another episode.
Thank you so much for tuning in.
This is Eddie Zarathustra once again.
This episode is revolving
around kind of a
whimsical, you know,
holiday decor.
I shouldn't say Christmas
because I like the holidays because
then it extends it for a long period
of time.
I've got some interesting stuff in
here.
I've got some beautiful glittered.
It looks like some type of maple
leaf.
I've got some dried
preserved dyed
material that is absolutely stunning
that goes into this aqua
Tiffany blue coloration.
I've got beautiful dogwood
silk flowers
that are embedded
with beautiful details of
gold.
And you have to play with this a
little bit to kind of open it up and
make it nice.
Just because you get flowers on a
stem like this, it doesn't mean you
have to like put it in a vase like
this.
You just kind of have to move it
around and
kind of massage them, as I call
it.
And just kind of let it,
you know, look how beautiful
this is.
Just the detail, the amount of
time that they had to go
through to make
each of it. Yes, of course, it's,
you know, things that there's things
that are made by
machines, but there are certain
things that are made by hand.
And you can see the difference
because there is no way that the
machine could equally do the glitter
on this as nice
as when, you know, it's
dipped and it's painted
and, you know,
the amount of work to make this just
one bloom looks so
amazing.
So anyways, get back.
I'm getting back to this.
Probably going to do this with all of
them just to give it
some life.
And you can do a couple of things,
right? We can mix all of these
flowers together or we can take
two of the elements
and do it in a container.
I have some succulents here
that are icicled.
So it's kind of fun
to see a succulent
that has kind of a different
feel to it.
So it looks a little bit more like
crystallized.
And I like the grayish green
effect up against this because
it kind of tones down
the colors
and then just makes it more
like gorgeous.
So this is what I'm going to do.
I think I'm going to take my
succulents and I've actually filled
this with water again.
I was planning to do some fresh
flowers and then I looked at the
product. I didn't love it.
And I said, you know what?
I'm not going to force this and I'm
going to try to do this in a
different way.
So I'm taking the succulents.
If this is the first time you guys
are watching my channel, I hope
you're enjoying it so far.

so.

social media.
Look, this is just looking so good
already.
So what I'm going to do is I'm
actually take some
of these leaves
and I'm going to cut them up
and tuck them in between
the bottom of the
succulents.
So almost giving it like a collar.
See that?
Look at the difference between this
and look at the difference between
this, right?
There's a big difference.
I mean, of course, I'm going to add
to this, but just when you finesse
things and you massage them
and you layer them upon each other,
it looks amazing.
I do have this.
I have one stem of this.
And so I'm thinking
it's pretty nice by itself, right?
I mean, I think it's really pretty.
But can I add to this without
making it tacky and
still make it look elegant
enough?
I think so.
At least let's try it, right?
Doesn't hurt to try.
Not always right.
And sometimes you do have to try
things creatively.
Sometimes it's in your head
and then when you're actually
producing it, the execution
isn't correct or it's not using the
right materials, aren't used.
So people freak out and then they
get discouraged and then they don't
want to do it anymore.
But that's not, should be, that
should not be the case.
I think it's gorgeous.
Either way you look at it,
it's got beauty to it.
OK, now let's start the other one.
On this one,
I think.
So I've got some leftover
ornaments
and I was wondering what I was going
to do with it. It's just one in one.
And it was like, now that's perfect.
So I can now use it.
It doesn't have a stem for me to
to adhere it to.
This is the leftover stems.
And I just glued it.
And now see, it's sturdy enough for
me to be able to use it inside the
arrangement.
Sometimes it's better to take it out
if you can.
Because it's easier to
kind of glue
and have it stay there rather than
starting all over.
So what I'm going to do is
I'm going to start with my dried,
preserved, dyed material.
And
just going to cut it up
and then I'm just going to let it
do its thing.
So the way it kind of drops in
the in the vase.
Gorgeous already.
I am going to take
the ornaments
and I'm going to shove one right
here.
And the other
one
kind of sort of
on the bottom lip
like this.
And then I'm going to take the dab of
glue because I don't think it's
going to stay there the way I want.
So if I can do a dab of glue
on this, I'd adhere
the lip of
the ornament
on top of the vase, on the lip of the
vase.
See that's so cool right now.
So cool.
Now I'm going to take these dog
wood.
So there's almost like little
butterflies.
You see that?
Look at that.
Cool.
You're loving that.
And then I'm going to do one
kind of sort of.
Otherwise, you won't get that
effect. It would look like it's
been like not paid
attention to.
Look at this.
Fully bloomed butterfly.
So what I don't like right now
is I don't like this.
The
tape showing, of course,
the only way to mask it is
if you take another flower, you see
that tape.
So when I'm putting it on
in the vase, I don't want the tape
to show.
This way I'm masking it.
Extended it.
And look awesome.
It's going to look really
awesome.
Look, we're going to go back in
here.
Look at that.
Look at the movement, the curves,
the one flower going here, the one
flower going there.
The leaf, you know, pay attention,
fix things.
This is what it's all about.
It's attention to all the details.
Oh, my God.
I'm loving it.
Look at this.
You know, you can add
more leaves.
Here we can do this because one's
left.
So let's, let's use
it.
Put it in the back
to support that.
I mean, look how simple this was,
right? Like we could,
we can even do lots of other
things.
You know, there's so many choices.
You take the product and think about
different ways of using it.
This is two ways that I'm showing
you how to use this.
I mean, I can easily go back and I
can extend these and these coming
out of this branchy.
That becomes the focal point.
But nevertheless,
it was exciting really
to do this video.
Look, I'm always in glitter.
Let me clean the table out.
Let me wash my hands and finish
the segment. Yeah.
So, guys, I'm back.
And look, this,
these arrangements,
they were, obviously
there are a couple of products that
they were abundant, but we just took
two ornaments, two succulents,
some dogwoods and preserved flowers
and some vases in this beautiful
aqua Tiffany blue with accents
of gold.
And then we mixed it with the
champagne colors, right?
So spectacular.
So simple to do.
This can be used for your console
table, your entry table.
You can add candles and accessories
to this.
And make sure
you guys are following me on all
social media.
It's good to connect
with all of you.
I can't answer all emails and
text messages and direct messages,
but I do my best to kind of get back
to everybody as much as I can.
I love, love shooting
these videos.
I hope that it opens
up your mind to
the use of materials
and to think out of the box, to
be able to use and repurpose
product.
I don't know. It's it's exciting that
I got to do all of this stuff.
I got to repurpose, recycle,
and I can put this and store
this next year and
do it a different way.
And maybe I do another video using
the same vases if they're still in
the in the studio
to do another revamped version of
this. But you never know.
Again, I want to thank all of you
for tuning in.
