This is a practical video of Autoclaved aereated concrete (AAC) Block fixing in building. Autoclaved aerated concrete blocks are light weight. The properties of light weight autoclaved aerated concrete blocks allow it to be used as construction material. This video provides guidelines while installing autoclaved aerated concrete blocks. Autoclaved aerated concrete is one of a modern building material, it has advantages, rigid, moisture-proof, high strength and energy-saving which can be widely used in many fields.

Hello Friends Welcome to the Knowledge Hub Channel
Let's learn together Today we are going to watch the practical
video of Autoclaved Aerated Concrete Blocks AEC Block Fixing
We have already created a video about AEC Block Properties and Rail Build Comparison
You will find the link to that video in
the i button and also in the description
You can go there and watch the video So let's start our today's practical
This is a renovation project for an old house where we are removing brickwork and doing blockwork
First of all it is very important to do the layout of the blockwork
So this layout is done according to the drawing
It is also very important to check its wall distance and its diagonal
The initial layout of the blockwork is called Pehni in the local language Accordingly
it measures the entire dimension from both sides of the wall and from the opening side
The bottom layer is
the starting layer It is very important There was a whole wall
on it You have to
take a lot of care while doing this
Look he is checking the measurement over and over again with this tape
Along with that he is also taking measurements from the
wall in front to check the cross So
that we get that dimension Its bottom layer has a mixture of crushed sand and cement in it
And in the front and top they use chemicals for the AEC block
There is water in it
for the joint They use chemicals
While joining this block one more precaution
is given Its line should be perfect And
its vertical plumb should be straight
Accordingly the front wall is also straight
The main points are the line level and its plumb This
should be perfect And its
dimension according to the drawing
And this is an AEC block
An AEC block is lightweight
So it is easy to install
And because of its large size compared to brickwork its construction is fast
So it is preferred in this case
And after installing a full-size AEC block if there is any gap a small piece is cut and inserted there
You can see that it is measuring the wall's dimensions
This AEC block is 100 mm thick and 150 mm thick
In this case a 100 mm thick AEC block is used where there are bathroom walls
And a 150 mm thick block is used in the main rooms
This is a chemical called DuraBond which is used in the joint
In this water is mixed and applied in the vertical and horizontal joints
The surface of this slab is
a bit uneven There is some
concrete here and there So it is removed and cleaned
And after wetting it with water the entire mortar is laid on it and the blockwork begins
And this layout is so important that once it is complete the responsible architect or engineer checks and approves it
And only after it has been approved does the next layer or the next wall construction begin
Its line level is the most important thing
While checking its level a level pipe or a level tube is used
Mortar is laid After laying the mortar these blocks are placed on it
While placing them the level line is checked and the plumb is also checked
This is the AEC block of the main room
150 mm thick blocks have been used here
Clean the slab surface and wet it with water
And after that the mortar is applied and the blocks are placed on it
This is the main procedure
After fixing the main blocks of the entire size the small space is taken according to its dimensions
And by cutting it you can see by cutting it with a machine it is placed
This is the block that has been cut
It is situated in the center
Along with this its line and level are also checked and the plumb is also checked
A layout has been found here You can
see the layout of the floor level
After checking it the upper layer is started
Now the upper layer has started
This is the AEC block of the main
room And while placing this block the chemicals are used on it
After applying the chemicals they are used on the horizontal and vertical joints
And after spreading this wall a binder is placed 1 meter away
Binder refers to 100 mm thick concrete
That makes the wall very strong
And the next layer starts on that binder
Here in this video you will see that binder
And the next layer starts on the binder
And while working on this layer the right distance and the plumb are checked
And the chemicals are applied on the horizontal and vertical joints
These binders are also known as partial beams
Reinforcement steel rod is also placed on it
100 mm of concrete is placed on it
The verticality of the wall is checked by the plumb
After putting every layer it is checked with a plumb line It is
also checked with a line
And the distance between columns is also checked by the drawing
And its cross check is also checked by the tape from the front wall
Here you can see that the plumb is checking the verticality of the wall
In this way the wall of the AAC block is completely
completed So friends we saw how to fix the AAC block
