During the assembling of my Vincent Black Shadow from Revell in 1:12 I tried a replacement of the original wheel spokes with Silver rods from Albion Alloys. Before mounting the tires I painted the rims with alclad II chrome color. It's only a very little animation but I had to share my experience since it worked so well. Hope it may be helpful...
