welcome to berlin we're staying downtown in berlin in the midtown area hotels here are very expensive but we did find a best western two stops away for 60 dollars actually a little under 60 dollars and look at this room we have a desk a closet a tv and a very very soft bed squeaky and the check-in they also gave us this kettle it's a nice box which was very nice and lots of little coffees hey if they have a three-in-one i'm gonna stay here for the rest of my life oh no look like they're just playing on the coffee this looks good enough about this we're gonna get downtown and check out a christmas market before they all close the 24-hour metro ticket is only eight dollars eight bucks eight euros first christmas market in germany they've got sledding and tons of food i can't wait what he said chris has been telling me about this food for over a decade now i finally get to try it making spirits check out these donuts they have all this stuff and of course you have to have nuts that's what she said that's what she said that's what she said hot and roasted jingle bells jingle bells jingle all the way bratwurst from germany oh that's different they were um have a spiciness to them that's really good that's amazing curry and ketchup with a spicy bratwurst okay this is hands down the winner it does now i'm gonna put the camera down and check out my mask and chow down that's a problem i broke my mask go on you want to go hit that sledding hill no not yet not yet maybe tomorrow yeah we just got here what's your next glorious later now this is christmas oh my gosh don't get hit snowing snowing all we need is our passport and our co-server covid certificate holy crap it's really starting to snow that's awesome real german christmas budget with katie this is amazing i thought i was a chicken i need a scarf wow all this handcrafted stuff just like i remembered now this is perfect jack what do you think of the craft there is nothing like this wow this is worth the putting the camera away and we're just gonna eat this stuff and have a great evening peace last night in berlin was so amazing catching that market and just the whole experience that everything else we get to do in berlin is just gravy i love gravy i like gravy yeah i think it's lunchtime we're at alexander plots right at the base of the famous berlin tower and we're gonna hit yet another christmas market the police are very active today they're all around our hotel everywhere there's berlin towers there's a giant advent calendar and there's a christmas market and you know we're going there later everything will be okay we need to start here tomorrow it is christmas this is your second currywurst in germany this is different than the last one i believe because the sauce looks different it's a great start to the day let the christian market feasting begin these are like five dollars fifty apiece they're like five euros so good bang for the buck next you may notice i'm now not wearing glasses they fog up so bad with the mask and the cold it's just worth it to not wear them let's just hope i don't have to read it's pretzel time you know had to stop for an anime okay this is ham cheese and a pretzel oh toasted with the melted cheese i mean melted butter well good cheese but there's melted butter on it too it's so good favorite christmas market snack so far the very first currywurst tomorrow it is christmas if you like the jason bourne movies you'll recognize this place there's a tram coming towards you get on it tomorrow it is christmas i don't have any other way to say it my heart is just full being able to experience this i love christmas and i've just always loved the christmas markets in germany and wanted to go back here and getting to share this with kate is just more than i ever could have dreamed of people talk about germany and so did alex and i never knew um hello i never knew how amazing it would be the food it's the first place i've been to right off of the train and the plane i wanted to eat everything because she saw the bakeries the bakeries and she said i'm in love already i mean and then we didn't tape we didn't tape it but we had a uh a giant like pork leg yeah braised pork leg and then a big piece of bread yes amazing oh wow i can't say wow um you can say wow you say whatever you your world i'm just right in space that's beautiful awesome we are off to explore more berlin seriously can't get any better and we have a pass that we can get off and on the u and the s you come to berlin just by a 24-hour pass for the metro it's the u-bahn the underground the s-bahn the above ground and then the bus you can go anywhere take the buses you guys know i hate the cold but i'm just loving it here even though it's like 30 degrees we're wandering around it's snowing it's beautiful it's amazing check point charlie with the christmas tree first time touching the berlin wall hi rosie this is a non-filming day but we're going to try a chili that has chili chili flakes that's really good it's totally different i like that they charred the outside now turn the camera back off and join me yes ma'am okay one new thing potato cake with garlic sauce okay without the sauce oh those are good by themselves i like it it's a mayonnaise with garlic garlic sauce okay back to no filming why stop when we're on the roll these things are called oh yeah those are much better i tried these little tiny ones but they had a really weird flavor to them but these they're really good adobo reminds me a little bit thicker of um new orleans um oh my gosh my favorite thing i'm really gonna drive to new good morning yep same thing happened last time deep fried goodness yum was that worth driving 13 hours uh-huh beignets these are good oh yeah these are a winner and we're doing good for a non-filming day i'm so glad she had me try the little tiny ones but they had this bite to them that i didn't really like at all but these are
