Skypark Santa's Village Then & Now! Abandoned theme park becomes Mountain Bike destination!
Skypark at Santa's Village Then and Now! Saved abandoned theme park. This old abandoned theme park from the 1950's has been reborn as an awesome mountain biking haven! We visit a local boomer childhood memory of host Pat Pattison's expecting a sad tale of yet another abandoned theme park. We are surprised to to find a vital and entertaining refurbished theme park AND world-class mountain biking course. The best example of preserving the past and making it new for a new generation we've seen yet!
We talk to Asst. GM Brad Lofland and surprise visit with hands-on Owner/GM and mountain bike enthusiast Bill Johnson about current and future plans for the Park! Mountain bikes pedaling through the air? Their theme of pedal-power rides allows that family to have fun AND work up a sweat.
