*FALL* Dollar Tree Haul!!

I had to go upstairs and grab everything and I just threw it all into one crate because I got so much stuff. So yeah, I'm excited to show you guys what I found, too. And it's not just fall stuff. I found a lot of just other home decor stuff and some new stuff. And I don't know if you guys have seen my Instagram stories, but my Dollar Tree expanded their like wallpaper section or something. And it's pretty, it's pretty crazy the kind of wallpaper I found. I don't know if you'd call it wallpaper or wall sheets or something. I don't know. Oh my gosh. The Crafty Kitty is like literally, he's standing like right behind my computer and he won't come any closer because he knows I'm gonna grab him. Hello? I got my water. I'm ready. How are you guys? How was your Monday? Just getting all my stuff. Okay, I see a couple more people joining. I think I'm gonna go ahead and get started. So it's gonna be fall stuff mixed in with the regular stuff. I don't want to do just like all fall at once. That'll take the fun out of it. So I'm gonna go through, yeah, I'm gonna go through some of the regular stuff first. Okay, so I found this all black cardstock. It's, hey, Anna, hi. So yeah, so just found, I always go the wrong way. I just found this in the Crafter's Square section. Cardstock, three sheets. It's, I don't know, it's hard to, I mean, it's like really nice material and I was honestly shocked for, you know, for Dollar Tree to have such nice, it feels like, you know, really good like scrapbooking, scrap, scrapbooking paper. And now the Crafty Kitty is trying to get my drink. You went yesterday, Brandy, and found some things that your Dollar Tree have never carried. Oh yeah, no, it's been a while since I've seen white nautical rope in mine. Floating shelves. Yeah, yeah, that's exactly how my Dollar Tree was first. It started off with like the fall florals and now we're getting the ceramic pumpkins and they're so cute. So I can't wait to show you guys them because I think I got almost one of every kind they had just because, I mean, I couldn't pick one. They're just so darn cute. Okay, so actually I have a couple things that would be good for Cottagecore. I just found a couple things and I mean, they were so cute. I couldn't pass them up, but they're stickers. Okay, so this cute little window right here. I'm going the wrong way again. This cute little window. Look at this. It's been a while since I've seen this sticker, but I used to walk right past it and I'm like, oh, what am I going to do with this? You know, because it's not to me, I don't know, this doesn't like speak like farmhouse to me. I really see this as more like a Cottagecore type of sticker. So let me know what you guys think, but that's just how I would use it anyway. But anyway, here's the other one. And this one, look at this window. I can't believe this is a Dollar Tree sticker. It's like a, looks like a Mediterranean style window or something, but and then this is all like brick right here, but I just thought it was so pretty. Yeah, definitely Cottagecore, right? Hey, Kelly. Hi, Jenny. Yeah, love Cottagecore. Oh my gosh, I'm getting big into that, you guys. That was not something I had ever done before. Literally, I never ever did that before. And then I just, I don't know, I saw Unicorn Dust Design video and then somebody mentioned it to me, a subscriber mentioned it to me on one of my posts. Hi, Roberta. And I was like, Cottagecore, what is that? And I'm like, I'm going to go look into it. So I went looking on Pinterest, on TikTok, on Instagram, everything I could find about Cottagecore just so I could really understand the style before I did some, you know, DIYs or like really felt like I knew it, you know. So I did a lot of research. Okay, so this is a sticker. I've been looking for this sticker sheet for a while, but I love this because I like to cut out the individual words and then I put them on cubes and I gave them to my mom as a Mother's Day gift because it says love you and it says like XO and yeah, I was like, that is such a, you know, I thought it'd be a cute Mother's Day gift. So I made that in a video a while ago that was in my Mother's Day video, but so I got two sheets because I have been looking for that one for a while because I love the phrases. Hey, Carmen. So then this, this to me, I don't know, it's kind of like a mix between Farmhouse and Cottagecore. Let me know what you guys think because it does have some lace pictures on it, you see? So, oh yeah, and this like little key that almost kind of reminds me of like Shabby Chic too, but this one, I don't know, it's kind of like a mix. So that's that. Okay, here's a fall thing. Look at this cute owl. It's like, it's like, look, I mean, it's like the size of my hand. Like, look at that. So that's just one of them. I do have another one, but like, so this is like, it looks kind of like bluish. I don't know if you can really tell. I have my ring light on, so hopefully that's giving out like good light here, but yeah, it's like a bluish tummy a little bit. But I thought that guy was cute. You could like paint it or something or you could just leave it. But here's the oh yeah, here's the other one. This one's very, very green. And blue belly again. Look at this. So like, I think it's, you know, it's doesn't have a hole in the bottom or anything. It's just like, yeah, you can see look at the back of it. So much like detail. I was really shocked. And like, yeah, this is all like defined. Like, look at the eyes. The eyes are a little creepy. But like I said, I'm doing a mix here. I don't want to do all the fall stuff just in once. So I'm gonna like sprinkle it in. This was a new rub on transfer sticker sheet. Just found this. But yeah, okay, so the owls, they came to my store right after I got the florals. So first it was florals. Then they were doing owls and a couple and then foxes. So I do have a fox too. And I can show you. But yeah, so this is a brand new sticker sheet. Like, I don't know. I mean, you can always use numbers for crafts. You know, like if you do kind of like if you want to do like your number, your house number or something for like torch decor, you can do a lot with these numbers. So that's what I got it for. Like that that was my intention anyway. So but yeah. Okay, so let me show you the new wallpaper. This was really fun. This just popped up at my Dollar Tree this past weekend. And I'm in Northern Virginia. So this is where I saw this for but look at this. I was like, you never know. You never you never know what you could use this for. But this is actual like, look at this. It says wallpaper. This is actually wallpaper. It's removable, fashionable wallpaper. Like what? So this is in the new wallpaper expanded section of Dollar Tree. And I was just posting about it this past weekend on my Instagram. If you guys don't follow me on Instagram, make sure you do that. My Instagram handle is literally just the crafty Quinn. So you can find me pretty easy. But yeah, so it says Main Street wall creations, peel and stick, removable, fashionable. It says measure surface to be covered wash surface and allowed to completely dry a line decal to straight edge to start. So it's literally just peel and stick. It's 11 by 16. So it's 11 inches by 16 inches. So they have it being used as like your you can put it on your stairs. You can put it on your wall, of course, like intended. And then you can just like put it on like the back of something like a dresser kind of thing. But uh, yeah, I mean, I have never seen this before. And the thing is, I don't see this at any of like the medium sized Dollar Tree stores. This was only at a large Dollar Tree. And I tried to go to that one sporadically. But I've been going there a lot more because I mean, they have the good stuff. So it's a little bit out of my way. But I mean, it has really good stuff. So it's worth the trip. But for a while, they only had back to school stuff. And I was going there and I'm like, still don't have full stuff yet. Like really, this one doesn't have it. So finally, they came through. But they still might that Dollar Tree actually still has not a nautical decor. So sorry, I'm like, wasn't looking at the comments. Good evening. I haven't seen the owls. But I bought the pumpkins a little fall. Yeah, Holly. Yeah. So I have a ton of not too many. I feel like I don't have a lot of the florals. Actually, I didn't go crazy yet. I just I went crazy with the pumpkins. Like I bought way too many pumpkins. Brandy, you got a bunch of the rub on transfers. Yeah, yeah, they had the same numbers. Love these. So I can't wait to use them for some kind of porch decor if we ever do that. I mean, again, like I like to do that kind of like with like people in my challenges. I don't know. I don't really go out of my way to do porch decor because I don't really have a porch. It's really, really tiny. So unless I have a good reason to I don't normally do it. But so yeah, so here's cute little you guys have probably seen these they've been in Dollar Tree a lot, but I just really like them because they're like, you know, the light would wash. So that's why I like them. And I got too long because what I've learned is that like, if you if you like something, try to get more than one of it because it's gone. Like you, it may not be there the next time you go. So if you really like something, you know, try to get a little bit more of it if you can, because I didn't do that. And then I just missed out for this one craft I was trying to make. And now I'm disappointed. So yeah. Okay. Um, well, actually, you know, I could show you guys this one. Here's one of the new pumpkins. It says be blessed be thankful. Maybe you can see it. I always go the wrong way. It's like backwards. But yeah, so it's got a little little etching right there. So this is one of them. This one's very orange, very metallic, very heavy. It's got a lot of weight to it. Like, my god, it honestly feels like a two pound weight. Like, holy moly. But yeah, I love this. I honestly I don't know what I'll do with it. Maybe I'll just kind of use it for staging purposes. But yeah, I thought it was so cute. And I wanted to show you guys that so there's that one. And then there's another one. So here you go. Yeah, someday by the sea. Hey, Denise. Yeah, you learn that the hard way too. You got to grab what you see when you see it. But yeah, so this one is white, actually the back of its white. The front of it is silver and metallic. So very, very heavy too. Yeah. Oh, yeah, there there was a teal one too. That's right. Thank you for the heads up for the reminder because there was a teal version of that too. So I guess I think those are the only colors they have. It's orange. It's this whitish, silver and teal. So correct me if I'm wrong, but those are the ones that I remember. Anyway, I got this. This these have been there for a while. But now that I'm making cottagecore decor, I thought this would be cute for that. So this is why I got that. But I've been this is another thing that like I walked past before and I was like, What am I gonna do with this, you know, but now I do cottagecore. So now I think that would be perfect for that little heart. I don't know that just kind of like, speaks to me. Okay, so this bowl, I did see another DIY or use this bowl in a video. And it was for cottagecore. So now I'm just trying to figure out how I can use it. This. I don't know if you can see all the details here. But like, look at this. I still can't believe this is a Dollar Tree bowl. Like this seems like something you'd find at a thrift store, actually. Like it looks like it was once very expensive. But like you can paint over this and I feel like this would be something cute for cottagecore. But yeah, that I don't know if you can see the design. It's kind of paisley. So that to me, I feel like is another cottagecore item. Very heavy. Okay, so here we go. Here's another pumpkin. Yeah, look at this. So you can see they have the fall leaves etched in here. This one has no weight to it. Really cute. Really hollow. I think. Oh, yep. There's a hole. Yep. So this is definitely a hollow pumpkin. I just pressed it a little too hard. I'm like, is it? Yep. So this is really cute. It's gold on top. And it's all just, there you go. I'm trying to do this slowly. But yeah, that is a, it's very, I don't know, it feels like a very light coat of paint, honestly. Like you could paint over this probably pretty easily. Or spray paint it. You could probably spray paint it. Okay, so let's do more wallpaper. Okay, I see. So I got four of each sheet of wallpaper that looked like real wood, because I thought maybe I might use it as a background for staging. So this one, this is one of their brand new wallpapers. This is insane. Like, this really does look like in a way like, I don't know, that's what I see anyway. But like, yeah, it's the same as that. The palm tree one with like how to apply it. I think it's not any different. Like, yeah, it's so it's just, it really, really looks like footwood. So I really like that. I thought it was so cute. I might just kind of, and I got four sheets of this. So I think it's big enough to fit on a poster to fill it up and be a background. But yeah, I know, right? This is crazy. I am in love with that one. Okay, now if you think that one's cute, wait, wait until you see the other. Sorry, that's my dog. She just found her toy bone. She does this like every single live like without Okay, so here's another cute one. Look at this. Like what? This is Dollar Tree. What? Like, look at the detail on that. Like, holy moly. So I got four of this. Of course, this would be another great background. The Chevron pattern. I'm like still in shock that I got this at Dollar Tree and same instructions. No, like nothing different. Like, you can do you can use it the exact same way you can use on your stairs. You can use it as an actual wallpaper. You can put it on like the back of like a dresser to make like a background or something. But yeah, wow, just wow. Yeah, you guys are right. This is good. For those that will be another cool background. Maybe it's me. I kind of want to make like a flipbook of backgrounds for my my crafts. You know what I mean? I've seen a couple people do that where you just take the Dollar Tree phone board and then you kind of make like one big book and it's all of your backgrounds and then you just like flip flip to whatever background you want to use. Yeah, you can use it for so many crafts too. But for me, honestly, I think I just want to use it as a as a background for staging purposes. I want to I want to do something a little bit different because I use a faux shiplap background a lot for a lot of my staging. So I want to mix it up a bit. Okay, now this one I I feel like this one looks probably the most realistic in terms of like, so would this? Look at this. It's gray. It's like grayish. It's like a grayish whitewash, really. So it kind of looks like that really modern whitewashed wood that I've seen a lot of people doing with floors lately. So this looks a lot like that. So I got four of these as well. And this is the this is the last wallpaper one that I have. But yeah, I just want you guys to look how cute this is. Sorry, there's like a reflection on here. But this is so pretty. But this is another one that's been basically when you see it, buy it. Because people are buying this up like crazy. I wanted to do. Well, I don't want to tell you I don't want to spoil it. But I had an idea for this. And this is the one that I got two of these I needed a third one. I couldn't find the third one. So this is why I'm telling you like when you see this stuff, get it like however many you think you might need like get it because it will be gone. And now I have to keep going back to Dollar Tree and see if they have it because I still want to make this thing. Hey, Tiffany. Hi. Hello, everyone from North Carolina. Yeah, that is awesome. So I love this. I mean, I'm not quite sure how, how big this is really. But I had an idea for this. I mean, I needed I needed three, I only have two. So I will find one eventually. I'll just keep going back to Dollar Tree. So this is another one. This one I feel like kind of looks like a plaque, like an award or something. But uh, I don't know. I'm like, like, what can I do with this? I'll figure it out. So okay, so I got another one of these because this actually, you know, this is the only truck I haven't used so far. Yeah, you found some of those two Trish. Yeah, this is so this is the only truck I have not actually used in a DIY yet I got all the other trucks. And then I just I didn't get this one. But it's fine. I will figure out something for that one too. Yeah, I love the oval one too. That I had a lot of ideas for. Okay, fall time. Look at this. I love the bottom of it. It's so like, I don't know. It's so modern to me. Like, because I so I just we just replaced our coffee mugs. Because I've been we've just been like sick of our old coffee mugs. We had them for years. And then I just got a new set at Walmart. And the the bottoms of it look a lot like this. This is kind of like the new style, like the clay bottom look, you know what I mean? Like, so like gray on top clay bottom like I feel like this is very modern looking. So I loved this pumpkin. Alright, so this is a brand new sign. Well, bring you to me. I just now seen this. I don't know if anyone else has seen this before. But they have a couple other ones like Hello, that was one of the ones I had before. But they have Hello, they have relax. And now they have family. So I like that. Okay, so let's do some more. Oh, yeah, this. This is definitely farmhouse. Anytime you see these trucks, just got one of these, they just added these to my crafter square, which is awesome, because I've never seen these in my crafter square before. So I guess that has something to do with how they, you know, expanded all the crafter square sections. But I love this. It does. It's not one of the ones with the lights in it. See, it's like literally just that. So around Christmastime, I believe Christmas, Halloween, like closer to that time, they do come out with the ones that have the lights that change different colors, but I feel like it's more towards Christmastime. But because actually Teresa B DIY sent me the one before that had the light in it, because it was never at my Dollar Tree. But it was another stash swap we did. But yeah. So okay, so here's another fall thing. Hey, Rebecca, Virginia. Hey. Okay, so you bought a case of the large. It's really Wow. Yeah, oh my gosh, girl. That is a very, very good idea. They make great gifts and wreaths. Yeah, that's a really good idea. So okay, so this is one of the new pumpkins. Look at this. It kind of looks like I guess it's trying to look like woodgrain, I guess but like the whole thing is covered in that same pattern like the stem too. And then there's just like this, you know, white lines throughout but yeah, this is very, very light. This this one is not like one of the ones with the hole in the bottom like this is it just doesn't have a lot of weight to it. So it's definitely a solid pumpkin, but very light compared to the other ones. Yeah, I love Yeah, always get the trucks I do because you know, I've started with farmhouse crafts. So now I'm diving into cottagecore more but you know, like if you guys been like following me for a while I've been doing farmhouse for a while now. I'm like loading up my table here with all this stuff. Okay, what else we got? We got a lot more in this. It's great. Okay, let me take a minute to look at the comments here. Dollar Tree stepping up their game. Yes, they are girl. Yes. Great idea. How much was it for the case? Uh, so cases I don't know. It all depends on how much is in the case because I went in on some Dollar Tree calendars with a bunch of other crafters and it was $48 for the case for the calendars. You know those those calendars the 2022 calendars that they've just come out with. If you get a case of it, it's $48. So honestly, the best thing you can do if you want those calendars go in on a case with a bunch of ladies that want to, you know, craft with them. And, you know, that's really the best way to get those calendars because I have been going back checking constantly for those calendars. So that was like the best way to get it. Uh, so actually, the calendars are actually supposed to be arriving sometime today. And I was hoping I was going to have the calendars in time for this live, but they're not here yet. They're out for delivery, like literally right now. But I don't know. I don't know which one's my favorite. I mean, they do have like a traditional farmhouse one. And then they have one that's like, it looks like it's got veggies on it or something. It's like a farmer's market type of one. And then they have one that's like, all like flowers. So it's really a mix. But oh, you got a case of the calendars? Yeah. Yeah. It's they make great gifts, too. Oh, no. An employee at my Dollar Tree said, if you buy a case of something, I can bring the ones I don't use and exchange them for something else. What? Oh, my gosh. I gotta tell. I gotta tell Crafty Cove about that. Oh, my gosh. Wow. That is so cool. Thank you for the tip. Okay. Yeah. Sorry. I'm getting distracted. Okay. Chalkboard clothespins. So I got, I don't even know how many bags I got of these, but I got, okay. I think I got four bags. I got four bags of these. And the reason I got four bags of these was because we just redid our pantry. And I organized everything in really nice baskets, because I didn't want all the like label showing and whatnot. So I did a lot of organizational type stuff. But the thing is, it's great that everything's in baskets, but you're like, wait, which baskets which, you know, so like, my plan for these is to actually label these gosh darn baskets in our pantry. So I can remember like, which baskets which, but it looks great aesthetically. But yeah, that's the downside. So that's the plan for that. I do have another bag of those in here somewhere. And then okay, so this to me, I feel like, I feel like this is really a farmhouse thing. I just saw this, bless this house, little hook right here. It's, it's just a wall hook. But, but for me, like when I see this, I see this as something you can like turn into like one big sign. They keep saying next week. Oh no, it's been a month since you've been to Dollar Tree. Oh my gosh, girl, I can't even tell you how many times a week I go to Dollar Tree like too much, way too much. That's all of this stuff that I'm hauling tonight is from multiple trips. I saved it all up for this live. Yeah. Well, I'm hoping I won't be disappointed by the farmhouse calendars this year or any of the calendars. We'll see. But yeah, no, I Okay, so I love to bless this house. And then I got the other one too. Because my plan is to turn this into one big sign simply blessed. This is the one that I've seen most people with. But so this one, I haven't seen really anybody with the use this one yet. I think everybody's mostly using this one. And I mean, it's really cute. I really do like it. But I want to use both if possible, like in the same sign. So I'm figuring I'm figuring out a plan for that. And by the way, the actually, each one is slightly different in the design. Look at this. This one has a lot more like squiggly lines. And then this one's a little bit less. They're just bigger. Here, I'll hold it up. There we go. Yeah, so see what I mean? Like, they're not quite the same, but it still works. I think it'll still be fine if I put them like on the same DIY. So we'll see. Sending you good vibes. Okay, so just playing with this pumpkin in my hand. Sorry. So this is another one that's hollow. Yeah. So this is okay. So this is like, they're one in the same. It's just a slightly smaller pumpkin. But they're not like heavily painted. You know what I mean? Like it's I don't know if you can see it. It's like a really, really light coat of paint. So I think you could easily easily paint over this if you wanted to. I've been thinking about painting these actually. I really have. Because I have so many of them like I got to do something. So I either stage them or paint them or something. So I got to actually use all these pumpkins because I have way too many. Okay. And there are still a lot of pumpkins I have left to show you my gosh, oh my gosh, I didn't realize how many I got. I think I actually bought one of each. Okay, I got more wood cubes. Of course. That is these are actually Oh, that's weird. This one's heavier than the other. Okay. I think one of them. I think one of them is a hollow one. And then one of them is not I was like, why do they feel so different? Okay. But yeah, I got more wood cubes. And then okay, so these are very new. I've been seeing these pop up a lot more at just like every Dollar Tree. I don't know if you guys have seen these yet. But these are just, I think they're just going to become like a regular item in the crafter square section. But it's it's just a wood plaque. There's just I don't know what it is with Dollar Tree and these plaques lately, but they got like all kinds. So there's this one. And then there's this one. And then they do have a regular oval shaped one to actually find that one. Here, this one, this is the other one. So this, these are the three that I'm seeing right now. But this one is another is another oval type thing. Because I've been trying to make stuff with ovals. And I can only find two of them and I cannot find a third one. So So yeah, so that's exactly what I'm saying. Like when you when you see these by them. So yeah, I could just distress those and white and they'd be beautiful. Yeah, yeah. And Julie, I agree that these will be perfect for like a base for something like, for me, I would put this I would put a spindle on this and turn it into a sign and then this would be the base. But they're very, very light, you know, like, I feel like I need a heavier base. So I would just need to find a way to make them heavier. But that's just kind of what I think of to actually, when I see these little plaques, I think of like, yeah, like a base. So I got this candle. Good things come to those who hustle, like it's a hustle candle. I gotta, I gotta just like be in that mindset. But yeah, it has kind of a strong smell because you know, Dollar Tree loves their strong smelling candles. And then okay, so more fall stuff coming your way that I already showed you. Okay, this Okay, so here is a little tiny, here's another pumpkin. So this is like this one. So when I saw this one, this one was like right next to it. So I guess these are kind of like, and see, it's another like, I don't even tell. They're trying to make it look like it's wood green. There you go. I think that's a better angle. That's kind of what happens. The white and brown ones you bought in a case. Yeah, you gotta you gotta just, you know, try to sell them in a flea market or like, give them as gifts or something. That's honestly what I would do. Yeah, you can never have too many. Oh, wait. Oh, no. I spoke too soon. There is a white one. Okay. So there is one. And this is another one. Oh, it's so hard to see. So it's it's a whole this is the whole family of pumpkins right here. There's a I got the tiny white one. But they do have the larger version of this one too. So pretty much if you see this, you know that there's a small one and a large one. So be on the lookout for those. These were the toughest ones to transport because I had to like kind of try to get extra bags because these were just so they're so like compared to the other ones. These are not sturdy like these pumpkins. These pumpkins could like really handle a lot but like these Oh my gosh, I'm carrying them in the car right in the bags. And I just hear them like this the whole time and I'm like, I'm gonna break it. But luckily, I don't think I chipped any of them by some miracle. But yeah, so this one I really liked this one. Honestly, I think I like this one the most. It's like a reddish brownish color. This one is a white belly. This the other ones have this like weird blue color. But I mean, it works. But yeah, like I said, the eyes are a little bit creepy, but they're cute. They're really cute. Yeah, you saw someone paint the owls white and stress them. Yeah, I would do the same thing. That's kind of what I was thinking when I when I grabbed these. That was kind of my, my intention. So we'll see. I mean, like I said, I think they would be really good for staging too. Okay, so two more pumpkins. Same thing Dollar Tree is doing the same thing. So this is okay. So I showed you the little one. They do have a larger version of this one too. These I feel like looks super modern. Like I don't know this to me is like modern farmhouse because it's like you got that wood grain and it has like a distressed look already. So to me, I feel like these don't need anything and I wouldn't do anything to them. I think they're perfect, just perfect, like modern farmhouse looking or whatever you want to call them. But I feel like they don't need a thing and I think they're really cute. I'm not sure if I'm not a fan of like this color, but I got this because I wanted to show you guys but I think I might end up painting, you know. They're not always you know, like and obviously like this, this color doesn't exactly go with any of my old decor. I'm a big like neutrals person. So we'll see. This one was perfect for my decor. It's neutral. It's a whitish. It's got like a gray top and then this one has kind of like gray lines. It's so hard to see. I'm so sorry. There you go. Yeah, that's a little bit better. I don't know if you can see the gray in between there, but this one is so heavy. It feels like a brick. Like it honestly feels like this was made out of cement or something. Like I kid you not like this really, really feels like it could do some damage. Yeah, definitely like not hollow at all. Like this feels like a brick. So yeah, this one's really cute. Really modern looking. Wouldn't do anything to that one. And I think I think those were okay. Those are all of the pumpkins that I could find. If I find any others, I will definitely do another live and I'll show you guys. But here are the last two things well second to last. Yeah, got these like little jump rings. I don't know. I feel like you can always use them for things. Jump rings now. This is like a jewelry thing, but now they sell them at Dollar Tree and Crafter's Square. Paint with baking soda to look like concrete. Yeah, yeah, that would be cool. Yeah, no, that is a really good idea. Oh my god, do you guys hear him? That was Crafting Kitty. He was just meowing at me. Oh my god, that was so cute. He's become such a little talker now. I love it. He's getting so vocal. He's just Marcus. Marcus was born in April. So well, April 2020. So he's just a little over a year now. Oh my god. Oh my god. He just tried to get up on my chair, but he just put his whole claw on my back. Oh, oh my god. No, no, don't do it again. He's trying to get my attention. I tried to pick you up earlier, but you didn't want to. He's like, love me. So this, okay, so after I got a claw on my back. Okay, so these two things right here. I mean, it's just a, it kind of looks like a little like Ray Dunn thing, but it's just ceramic. It's just like a piece of decor. You can put it in like a tear tray. You can put it on your shelf, but it says yes, you can. And yes, it is crooked. Very crooked. So I got a defective one, but it's okay. Okay, and this one, trust your purpose. This one, I just like, I don't know. I really want to have this like, on my desk or something or like on my on my table or something like I just want to have it out so I can see it all the time. Okay, so other announcement time. Okay, so this week is my monthly challenge. I host a monthly challenge monthly. And so this month was actually the sip in and chill in challenge. And that was based on like, kind of like what summer drink, what basically DIY that make you think think of like your favorite summer drink. It could be like, alcoholic, non alcoholic, whatever you like. If you like lemonade, if you like iced tea, something like that, whatever makes you think of sitting outside, drinking a nice cool summer beverage, and you make DIYs about that. It's the most unconventional DIY theme. And that's why I love it. I do out of the box themes every month. So look for that. So I'm sorry that this Wednesday is not going to be a cottage core or farmhouse DIY video, it's going to be DIY is based on this challenge. And that's kind of like why I do this challenge. I like to step out of that, like, you know, farmhouse cottage, you know, like, I got to get out of my, my normal comfort zone, like creatively, so I stay creative. So that's why I host this challenge. I like to think of really out of the box decor themes. The first month that we did, it was actually a summer fruity picnic challenge. And then last month was actually camping decor DIY. So that was really fun. That one, I really liked that one, because I made this sign and it had a little camper on it. And he, he, I made this cute little camping sign and a little camper on it. And then I printed out a little phrase, it's like, let's hook up because it's got a little camper on it. You know what I mean? Like I thought it was really funny anyway. But yeah, exactly. It is a nice change. So that's why I do it. So this month, definitely stepping out of my comfort zone. I'll let you guys know as soon as I have the theme for next month, but it's going to be another, you know, try to get out of my comfort zone kind of theme. And then so my host, my co host for this month is Andrea Peacock DIY. So she is co hosting with me, I pick a new co host every month, I pick a new theme every month. And so I just I don't like to, I don't know, I don't like to do the same thing every month. So that's mostly why I do this. I like to pick something brand new. I don't like to stay in the like, you know, like picking one theme for every month, but just kind of like changing it up a little bit. No, I go completely different every month. And then I just got to like brainstorm like what I like to do. And then I so I go pick a topic, right? And then I go I go look on Pinterest to see if there's a lot of decor based on that topic. And if I don't see a lot of decor on Pinterest based on that theme, I'm like, yep, that's a winner. And that's how I do it. Okay, so that's Wednesday. So my next video is Wednesday, 6pm Eastern Standard Time. So that is like I said, it's a challenge. So I have a bunch of other crafters with me, and they're all doing DIYs for this challenge. So there's going to be a playlist. And we're going to have all of our videos on this playlist, all decor for that theme. And I'm really looking forward to it. So it's been, you know, a whole month in the making, obviously. So I'm just really excited to see what some people have come up with. I know some people are actually going to make drinks for their DIYs and kind of do both at the same time. So I thought that was really cool. I know, Danielita AF, the crafty mixologist, she's actually planning to make a drink too for her DIY video. So I'm like, that's and that's what she does every video. So I'm like, this is perfect for you. You have to be in this challenge. It was just perfect. And then I so I haven't announced I haven't announced the next month's theme yet. I do have a co host I literally I have all of my co host picked up until probably November. So I'm set there. It's just the themes I like to kind of, I guess I kind of procrastinate a little bit. But I try to brainstorm with the co host like what the next theme is going to be. But yeah, no, I'm excited for that too. Yay. Okay, so and then after that is most likely going to be the cottage core DIY video, I'm going to do another one. I have a really good idea for it. I haven't seen other people do this before. I guess because this cottage core decor is kind of relatively new. I know it kind of popped up big in quarantine. And people have been telling me now that that cottage core DIY is actually kind of kind of came out of like quarantine and like staying home and baking bread and things like that. And that's kind of how the style came about. And that's really, really interesting. So I'm having a lot of fun with it. I don't want to give that up anytime soon. So I'm going to be doing a lot more cottage core DIYs I'm going to be doing. I'm still gonna be doing farmhouse, you know, like mixed in like I'm not ready to give up farmhouse completely, but I just want to mix it up. So the next video will after so the next video after the fruity drinking challenge, basically, the next one after that is going to be the next cottage core DIY video. And that is the one that I've been working on because I had an idea for it. And I didn't see other people do this before. So it's kind of it's very, it's very relevant. It's very timely. I'll say that much. I don't want to give too much away. I don't want anybody else to like do this before me. I'm so excited. But yeah, so this is okay. So anyway, this is what I do Monday nights. I go live every Monday night. So if you're new to my channel, definitely look for that every I go live every Monday night around eight o'clock. Now I kind of moved it up. I wanted people to be like, you know, done with dinner and whatnot. I just felt like I just don't want to interrupt people's dinner. So now my lives are 8pm every Monday night, Eastern Standard Time.
