Hello guys, welcome back to my channel.
Welcome to today's video.
So today we are going to be testing out some new makeup.
All of these are just new to me personally.
They're not necessarily new to the market,
but I do have a bunch of goodies here that I'm excited to share with you today.
Some of them I have tried once or twice,
but I wanted to solidify my opinion on them on camera with you by testing them out again.
And then some of them are pretty much new to me, have not tried before.
But the main products in today's video is the Colourpop Never Tourist Apart Quad.
I usually do little mini tutorials on these Zodiac quads from Colourpop,
but I really wanted to try some new products today.
So I thought I would just include it in today's video since I have not used this quad.
And there's also some products from the brand Flower Nose.
It's a beautiful, gorgeous Chinese brand.
And then I also have some products from Game Beauty.
We have Tower 28, Sigma Beauty, just a lot of fun brands and makeup to play with.
So with that being said,
if you guys are curious about this look, then please continue watching.
So here is my bare face, just prepped with skincare.
I'm gonna first go in with the Merit Lip Oil.
I have tried this a fair few times,
but I thought I would use it as lip prep for today.
Such a pretty rosy color.
It feels so luxe.
It's very lightweight on the lips as well.
And I always like to apply lip oils when I start my makeup
because by the time I get to my lips, my lips will be hydrated.
I'm first gonna go in with the Tower 28 Sunny Days Raw Spectrum SPF 30 Tinted Sunscreen.
I'm wearing the shade number 20 Mulholland.
So this one isn't new to me.
Like, it's not a first impression or anything.
I have used this a fair few times.
I thought I would just use it in this get ready with me
so you can hear me talk about it more.
I like to apply it with my fingers just like, you know, how you would apply moisturizer.
But I've had this for maybe like over a month now.
Maybe a month and a half.
And I've been using this actually quite a lot on my off days.
And I like it.
I love like tinted sunscreens, tinted moisturizers
because it just sort of evens out my complexion.
And then I'll go in with my normal full coverage foundation.
And I feel like my skin doesn't look so heavy or cakey.
And I feel like the shade is also not that bad.
I feel like when I first got it, it seemed a little bit ashy.
But I don't know, now I'm applying it now, it seems fine.
Even though this does have SPF.
Guys, still wear your SPF underneath, which I am wearing my SPF.
But it's just nice to get that extra extra SPF going in.
I'm also just gonna dab it in with my beauty sponge.
I am using a beauty blender again.
I thought I would kind of just use a beauty blender again to see like,
you know, if there really is a hype.
Because I haven't used this actual beauty blender in a long time from the actual brand.
I really don't think it's worth it.
I think there are a lot of good dupes out there.
Then I'm going in with the Sigma Spectrum Color Correcting Duo.
I'm using a light to medium.
And I'm also using the brush that it came with, which is the F64 Soft Blend Concealer.
And I'm just gonna take a mixture of these.
And guys, like I usually don't use brushes for my base especially.
Something about this brush, it just is so good.
And I'll just dab a little bit under my eyes.
I should have did one eye first so you guys could see the difference.
I think this is such an amazing product.
This is also not a first impressions.
I just wanted to show you guys and talk about it.
Like recent makeup that I've been really loving.
Some of these will be new.
But yeah, I just wanted to share with you guys this corrector because it's so lightweight.
But it does such a good job of just brightening and correcting my dark circles.
And I feel like when I use this, I'll go in with less concealer.
Like honestly, I could use this on its own to be honest.
Like it actually looks really good.
And I guess while I'm here, I'll just do my concealer.
This is my Tried and True Concealer Too Faced Born This Way.
Nothing new. Been using this for years.
So I'm just going to directly put this on my skin where I need a little bit more coverage.
Which is mainly over my acne and like my cheeks.
And I will just use the brush to blend that out first.
I don't know.
I usually don't use brushes for my face.
But recently, maybe Cosigma sent me this brush.
And the quality is just a lot better.
Like don't get me wrong, Colourpop brushes are really really great as well.
Like I think for the price you're paying, they're so amazing.
They have such great shapes.
But I mostly use Colourpop for eye brushes.
I don't really use them for face.
This just feels so soft.
And like even though I think it's like, I don't know, is it natural here?
The way it blends out on your skin, it doesn't make it look streaky.
I will still go in with my beauty blender.
But like, I don't know.
Something about Sigma brushes, like I haven't used them in so long.
And if you wanted to save a bit of money on Sigma, you can use my code.
I am now affiliated.
So I do have a few affiliated codes that I always leave in my description for your reference.
But for the eyes, I'll just take a concealer brush.
This brush is from Vanity Planet.
Who remembers Vanity Planet?
I'm pretty sure they still are a brand.
But like, yeah, they don't make these brushes anymore.
But they were so good.
So I just take a little bit off the doe foot.
And I'm just taking like a little bit of concealer for my under eyes.
Instead of swiping it on, my under eyes don't look so like heavy.
I think with my fine lines, my under eyes will always look a little heavy.
It's not gonna look smooth because I have fine lines.
It's like, how can something look smooth when you have fine lines, right?
But it doesn't look heavy.
But I'm also still getting that coverage because I am tapping it in with my brush.
I feel like my whole base routine has kind of changed.
I definitely have changed my techniques a little bit.
And I have been going in with a lot more cream products.
Which, if you know me, I don't really touch a lot of cream products.
I'm really a powder girl.
But I'm gonna try this new contour stick.
I mean, it's not new.
It's new to me.
So this is from LA Girl.
It's the Velvet Bronzer Contour Stick.
This is in the shade Suede.
I've had this for a little bit now.
I just haven't gotten around to use it.
So I thought now that I'm into cream products, let's give this a go.
So I like to take these kind of products onto a brush.
This is the Kaleidos H2, which is a highlighter brush.
But it's very small.
It's synthetic.
So I just like to take a little bit.
Because these can be like really, really pigmented.
And this does look really warm.
Which is fine because I am going for a really warm look today.
And I actually like to apply it like on my cheekbone.
Because I notice when I do blend, I tend to blend down.
So I feel like it's better to start up higher.
And then you'll naturally just like blend down into your cheekbone anyway.
It does blend out really nicely.
Not as well as the Em Cosmetics one.
But I mean, for the price, that is pretty good.
It's actually-
This would be actually a really nice blush.
I don't know. These days, I like-
I'm really lacking brushes.
I really want to try the brand Riffer.
I think it's called.
It's really expensive though.
Really, really expensive.
So I don't know. My birthday's coming up.
I'm just using my birthday for every excuse.
For everything that I wanted to get.
My birthday's coming up. Should I just get it?
Oh no, I wanted to use this mirror as well, guys.
This mirror is from the brand Flower Nose.
The next product is from Flower Nose.
And they sent me this one, okay?
This is the packaging.
How pretty is this?
It is really bulky though.
So like storage-wise.
But it's just so pretty.
It comes with a puff in here.
And the puff feels really great.
And then you open it up.
And you get the powder.
I thought this was a cushion when I first got it.
But there is just a translucent powder.
It has like flower embroidery detail in it.
It's so pretty.
It feels so luxe.
So I haven't used this before.
So this will be a first impression.
I'm gonna take another Sigma brush I got recently.
The F67 Skin Perfector.
I'm gonna take that on my brush.
And we'll use this to set our face down.
And then I like to start from here.
And I just love the angle of this brush as well, guys.
Usually for this step, I would use a loose powder.
But let's just try this powder out.
Oh wow, that's actually really nice.
It doesn't like enhance any dry textures.
And it kind of has a blurring mattifying effect to it.
I feel like on camera, you can see my skin just almost like smoothed out a little bit.
And when I dip my like brush into the pan,
there's no like fallout or anything or kickback.
Absolutely nothing.
I think that looks great.
I actually really like that.
So to just save a bit of time,
I did do my brows and one eye off camera.
This is the look that we're gonna be doing today.
So starting off, I'm going in with my Ace Beauty Eyeshadow Amplifying Base.
This is in the shade Light.
I just like to take a little bit on the back of my hand.
And then just using my ring finger,
I like to take the lowest amount like just dabbing it out.
And then I'll tap that into my eye.
I've been really really liking this eye primer.
Actually, I think it does a good job of just like concealing my eye.
It's a really great base.
I always try to remember to take it onto my lower lash line as well
because I do put shadow there.
So today's eyeshadow palette is the Never Taurus Apart Quad from Colourpop.
I usually do a mini tutorial on these quads,
but I thought it would be more fun to include other products.
But this is going to be the star of the show.
So I'm gonna start off with this shade here.
This is called Like a Bull.
And I'm just gonna sweep that all over my lid.
Okay, that came off really pigmented.
We're just gonna take that and just diffuse this out up into our crease.
And then we're also just gonna take that onto our lower lash line as well.
Then going into the olive called Trust Me.
I try to tap around the imprint.
I'm gonna first focus this at the outer corners of my eyes first,
just tapping it in here.
And then I'll use more circular motions to start blending that upwards.
And then I'm also gonna take that into the inner third of my eyes
using a dome-shaped pencil brush.
And then just taking a little bit of that olive onto my lower lash line just at the outer third.
Then I'm going into this shade here called Rich Rich.
And I think this shade is going to pull the look together.
It's a duochrome shadow.
So let me apply that to the center of our eyes.
So it flips with gold and lime green.
It is super pretty.
It really brings this whole look together.
And I actually think this quad is really really beautiful.
So if you want like just a small green quad,
this one is really pretty like that duochrome.
I absolutely love it.
So just applying it to the center and then blending that out towards the outer edges.
I do take a little bit onto my lower lash line as well just to get more of that green color.
And then lastly taking this shade here in the palette called The Good Life.
Love this shade as well.
It's such a complementary color to this look.
So this is going into our inner corners using my new favorite inner corner brush.
This is from Game Beauty, the E05.
Such a tiny little brush.
Perfect for this region.
And then I also have this pressed glitter from ColourPop.
It's in the shade Crystal Cave.
I haven't used it yet, but it came out last year.
I'm pretty sure this might already be discontinued,
but I just thought it was so pretty.
I like to apply this right above my crease and just sort of like tapping it in
to get the little scattered glitters all over my eye.
I just love how it kind of looks.
I'm gonna be using this lash primer from Essence.
It's the Volume Boost Lash Primer.
And I actually got this I think last year and I used it once.
And I did not like it just because it was so like goopy and watery.
Now that it has been open for a little bit
and the formula has dried down,
I thought I would use it again.
So I did already use it on this eye,
so I just have to use it on this eye.
And I will say I don't really like it.
I don't think it really does much for my lashes.
I think if anything, you can still see the white.
Maybe I'm still applying too much,
but it's just a very goopy formula.
I think it just weighs down my lashes.
I think with this lash primer and then just a normal mascara,
it kind of weighs down my lashes a little bit.
If anything, it does make my lashes look very very like thick,
but it's not like my favorite.
I think out of everything I've used today,
this would be my least favorite product.
I don't think I'm a lash primer girl.
So the mascara I'm using is this one from e.l.f.
It's the Lash It Out Loud.
This one's okay.
Like I've been using it just because I have it.
It's not like my absolute favorite,
but yeah, I just don't think that lash primer really does anything.
Now time for blush.
I have the most beautiful blushes here.
These are both from Flower Nose.
Just look how pretty they are.
Like they don't even look like makeup.
It looks like a jewelry case or something.
So there's a lilac one.
It's called, it's in Chinese.
So I'll have to write the name on the screen,
but you open it up like this and you have the beautiful blush in here.
This one's really pretty.
It's a really nice pale pink.
I've actually been using this one quite a lot recently.
But the one I'm using today is in the blue packaging and it has an orange blush inside.
Again, I'll leave the shade name on the screen.
But how pretty is that?
It has the most beautiful imprint and just the packaging itself.
So so pretty.
I've only used the shade once and it was really really pigmented.
As you can see, it's really pigmented.
I noticed with this like Flower Nose formula,
a lot of it's like really dry, you could say.
Like there's no kickback in the pan like whatsoever.
Yeah, I think it just looks a little bit clustered here because of my cluster of pimples.
And then for highlighter, I have two options here.
These are both from Game Beauty.
They came out with their Elemental Pearl Highlighters.
And they kind of remind me of the Kaleidos ones.
I have used this green one.
This one is Dendro.
Number 4 Dendro.
It's like a green highlighter.
I don't have a green highlighter in my collection, so that's very unique.
This one is called Geo,
which is probably the most natural one out of all of them because it's a gold.
So I think I'll go for this one today.
I think it will match the look even though we do have green on the eyes.
I'm just gonna apply it right here.
I will say the Kaleidos ones are probably more like metallic
and like foiled with the micro glitters peeking through.
This one is like almost sheer with a lot of the micro glitters peeking through.
But I think it's really pretty.
Like the glitters are not like chonky or anything.
I think that green shade is probably like a really unique one
because even from Kaleidos, they don't have a green highlighter.
And I do have an affiliated code with Game Beauty now.
So it is my name, Judy, at checkout.
Then I'm going in with this little guy here.
It's the Frick Frickle Eyeliner.
I'm gonna just dab this all over here.
I feel like the color of this is very like realistic.
And then I like to tap it out while it's wet.
And it really looks like real freckles, I feel.
I just do whatever like this.
And then you can tap it out.
I really don't know how I feel about it.
Like sometimes I feel like it does look real.
But then it looks like, I don't know, my skin just looks patchy.
So I still gotta work this out.
But I think for this look, I do want like freckles.
So we're just gonna roll with it.
Then for lip color, I have a few options.
So I have this lipstick from Too Faced.
It's their Lady Bold Lipstick.
And I got mine in the shade Comeback Queen.
I have not used this before.
It's just so pretty because the bullet is in the shape of a heart.
So I don't want to use it yet.
So this is a good option.
It's like a nice warm nude.
And then I have these guys from Flower Nose.
Again, the packaging is so pretty.
These are lipsticks.
So this one is Plum Tea.
It's so pretty, I don't even want to use it.
Mmm, okay.
So it's like a creamy matte.
As you can see, it goes on very smoothly.
This actually reminds me a lot of the Odin's Eye Lipstick Formula.
The scent is very similar.
The shade is very similar to the peach one I really like.
But I would say this one's a little bit more creamy.
The Odin's one's a little bit more matte.
But this is really, really pretty.
Like, I love the shade.
Is this shade not just a me color?
I really like it, actually.
It's like really comfortable.
It doesn't tug on the lips.
It's not drying.
The packaging is absolutely stunning.
So I kind of love it.
Alright, guys.
So this is the final look using some new makeup.
I would love to know your thoughts down below.
What was your favorite product in today's video?
I pretty much loved everything.
Everything did work out well.
But I would have to say my least favorite product was that Essence Lash Primer.
That was definitely the only thing that didn't really work out for me.
Everything else performed well.
I loved everything.
But that does conclude today's video, guys.
So thank you so much for watching, as always.
I love you so much.
And I'll go ahead and see you in my next video.
Bye!
