Dominican Republic vs United States 7 - 5 Highlights - Resumen World Baseball Classic 2017

On the mound for Team USA, with a tall order, is 25-year-old Toronto Blue Jays right-hander Marcus Stroman. And a swing and a miss. Stroman gets two good, patient hitters to chase here. For Christian Yelich, this one drives and a run to USA. This time it wasn't hit as hard. Off the end of the bat and found a spot. Right center to get down and score a third run of the ball. Wasting no time. He's strutting. Yeah, he is. He is strutting and feeling good. And that's four strikeouts. Marcus Stroman brilliant tonight. Offender for a 62, Cadillac DeVille. This is Giancarlo Stanton, meanwhile, who left center field. They're going to try it with Goldschmidt. He'll score, 4-0 American. Here's Manny Machado now with one guy on the bases empty. Oh boy. You can see Luke Roy set up well outside. Oh! And they get him looking with that big strikeout. Applying a tourniquet to a run scoring inning. Nelson Cruz, well hits a left. Now without a chance. Threw him a slider. Didn't get it down enough. Cruz. Tomorrow's matchup with Canada means a whole lot more for Team USA than it may have about an hour ago.
