TEACHING MY BROTHER HOW TO RIDE A HORSE! Instructor for the day!

Hi guys, I'm Harlow and this is Popcorn. Welcome back to our YouTube channel and in today's video I'm going to be having a lesson with my trainer Ellie McCarthy and then after that my brother Harlan is going to be riding Popcorn and you might have seen Harlan ride Popcorn a couple times but today Harlan is going to have pretty much full control of Popcorn. The only control that I'm going to have is the lunge line so this is going to be very interesting. So Harlan is actually five years old and he's only ever sat on Popcorn twice but today I am Instructor Harlow and let's see how good I am at teaching children how to ride. Also at the end we're going to be seeing a baby foal. I haven't seen him yet and I've heard that he's absolutely adorable. I've never actually seen a foal so this is my first like ever time actually seeing a foal in real life so okay Popcorn let's start my lesson. I've finished my lesson I think it's time for you to hop on Popcorn. I want to do my lesson now. Yeah and I'm your teacher. I've done their stirrups as short as they can possibly go so I'm going to hope that they stay that oh wait we're not getting on like that right first of all okay right Harlan first of all we need to put this on Popcorn. Can you guess what this is called? It's called a lunge line. Can you say that? Yeah it's one two three four five seven eight nine ten eleven twelve thirteen and up to fourteen. okay okay so first of all Harlan we need to put your hat on so you've got your nice hat is that on properly yeah and then let's do that up and let's get your body protector oh don't I'm gonna hold that you need to put it down don't know what we're going to do now now you're going to do you're going popcorn is just gonna do his own thing okay he's probably gonna walk out the arena and take himself into the state harlan don't you ever drop your body protector on the sand unless someone's dropped because if you dropped it a horse could stand on it and break it that was quite successful i had a really good lesson i think harlan did as well yes oh thank you for the kisses i'm quite impressed that he didn't fall off it's my new saddle pad oh oh popcorn oh popcorn you're a sweaty boy oh you can just stay there with no head color on popcorn you're fine i absolutely love popcorn wearing the bandages because he just looks so like nice and posh in them but the problem is with them is sometimes when we buy them they're too long so they end up having to be really really thick we could cut them but we haven't got round to doing that yes yeah it's a bandage soft fluffy cozy bandage it's miss white but anyways you need to put popcorn stuff away there and walk with it no other way this way now into his stable i'm gonna turn this way he's not gonna do anything do i do right you unbuckle his head collar okay you just do this right harlan do you want to give him his dinner okay yeah you just pop him in his in his state oh in his in his stable oh should we go see if his water's if he's got enough water in his bucket right should we refill that then no we're going to put some more water into it picking up the poo harlan do you want to have a go so just push it there get all the poo in that's quite a lot of shavings oh harlan that's loads of shavings look there's barely any poo in there it's all shavings let's empty it all back out again because you filled up the whole thing with shavings okay we're allowed a couple shavings in there but we don't we don't want all the shavings in there harlan can i have the brush back now yeah just put park it over there okay harlan come on in here there is i want to see your little baby phone oh he's hiding behind his mummy i see his little legs but i can't see him yeah we're gonna go from the outside because little mister doesn't want to come out because he's hiding behind his mummy oh my gosh he's the cutest oh my gosh he is so cute baby phone is he cute yeah i can't see it because of the sunshine he's gone back round oh where's he gone now mommy's right here he's so cute yes and you're cute as well there's mommy's camera mommy no don't do that i gotta stroke him i wanna stroke him nothing look at him he doesn't have any teeth yet oh he's excited mommy i can see your baby phone harlan he hasn't got a name what would you name him oh maybe nazi nazi yeah nazi come on oh he's so cute look at his little tail nazi don't do that isn't it is isn't it is that what we i'm gonna call uh the big one snitzy and the small one's nutsy nitsy and nutsy you're playing with your mommy's tail he's a daddy no this is his mummy i don't think they're gonna be calling him nazi nazi nazi hermione galaxy i think we should call him galaxy because it's like food it's like chocolate goes with popcorn he look he's got a fat tummy can't be the baby is inside him where's nazi gonna come he's not called nazi the baby will be galaxy and the mummy will be nazi i think not the mummy's not gonna be nazi the mummy's gonna be screwy what is the mummy gonna be called screwy harlan no the mummy is not going to be called any names so has been a very very busy day today i've been to school i've been an instructor i've been a dressage rider i've had a lesson i've met a brand new baby foal i've mucked up popcorn i've refilled popcorn's water bottle well not water bottle but a water bucket um i've put my tack away and yes also the next video that will definitely be coming up is an organization vlog because if you have seen the state of my tack locker and my um rug um my rug shelves they are in i don't think they could get any messier if i even tried so that's definitely going to be one of the next videos because yeah i
